I am an educator / photographer, teaching photography at the Vaal University of Technology for the past 27 years. My educational experience in this time has led me into numerous projects that required conceptualisation and execution, many time under tremendous pressure. The immediate challenge seems to create more comfort than anxiety, especially if I am able to control some of the determining parameters. The teaching of practice in the creative imaging arena over an extended time has naturally led to serious research in this field.
