The Kingdom of God

1. What Jesus MEANT, What People HEARD,
Who We Are Called to BE &
What We Are Called to DO
THE
KINGDOM of GOD

2. Then Jesus went about all the cities, and villages,
teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming
the good news of the kingdom, and curing every
disease, and every sickness.
MATTHEW 9:35

3. Jesus came to Galilee, proclaiming the
good news of God, and saying, “The time
is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has
come near; repent, and believe in the good news.”
MARK 1:14-15

4. But Jesus called for them and said,
“Let the little children come to me,
and do not stop them; for it is to such
as these that the kingdom of God belongs.
Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive
the kingdom of God as a little child
will never enter it.

no one can enter the kingdom of God
without being born of water and Spirit.”

“Which commandment is the first of all?”
Jesus answered, “The first is:
‘Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one;
you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul, and with all your mind,
and with all your strength.’ The second is this,
‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
There is no other commandment
greater than these.”
