What The Privileged Class Ignorant
What the Privileged Class Ignorant Since the second youngest Canadian Prime Minister Justin
Trudeau was elected, his spouse, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, also got attention, and has volunteered for
lots of charitable events. However, in an interview, she said, I d love to be everywhere, but I can t. I
have three children and a husband who is the Prime Minister. I need help. I need a team to help me
serve the people. (LAVOIE) Because of this, many people realized that she is surrounded by bulging
schedule that she can t even handle her children. Although these days, people who try to understand
women s point of view is tend to be seen open minded or considerate people, the idea that she should
receive extra staff to help her promote the nation is an improper solution that can cause many
problems. If she receives more staff, the PM s spouse s weight of the role will increase. The problem
of this is that it will gradually decrease women s position in Canadian society. Before she got married,
Sophie Grégoire Trudeau was a former TV presenter. However, now she works as first lady even
though she hasn t done any political experience, and there s no official role and title for the PM s
spouse. Because of this, in citizens , especially in women s point of view, it can be thought following
husband s life and being an assembly of husband is successful women s life. However, according to

The Problem Of The Healthcare Crisis Essay
There is a sad sort of irony these days when using the phrase healthcare. Is the focus truly on the
health or care of the patients any longer, or on the potential earnings of insurance companies and other
stockholders?
Since the introduction of the third party payor concept decades ago, the industry has set the stage for
insurance company management of healthcare. This paradigm has ensured that the costs of care
remain high while the quality has diminished.
What (or Who) is Behind the Current Crisis?
Singling out one specific cause of the healthcare crisis is like trying to name one thing that s wrong
with boy bands there are simply far too many things to point to.
If we had to list some of the reasons consumers and providers alike are finding it difficult to navigate
the current landscape, we would include things like reimbursements being fixed at lowering rates,
overhead expenses increasing for physicians, a constant influx of insurance and government mandates,
more paperwork and bureaucracy in medicine in general, malpractice litigation, understaffing of
hospitals and private practices, complex policies leading to lack of interoperability, and diminished
patient and doctor engagement.
There is also the fact that the industry has become increasingly fragmented. Consider that nearly 50%
of healthcare spending in this country is publicly funded by federal, state, and county level
governments through various entitlement programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and the

Liberalism Is The Root Of Our American Soil Essay
We have all heard the terms right wing conservatives and left wing liberals, but many people are not
quite sure which wing is correct. Although both sides have good arguments for separate issues, in my
opinion, liberalism should be guiding our thinking when it comes to our economic ways, and political
rights; liberalism is the root of our American soil. Many people believe that steering away from
liberalism is the right way to create change, and build upon our freedoms, but by returning to what our
country was built upon, we can continue the aim of a free, fair and prosperous society. This paper will
guide you through the two main phases of liberalism: classical and modern; their manifestations; and
how as a democracy, liberalism represents a strategy practical for a free society. Liberals believe
government action works to achieve equal opportunity and equalities for every individual in our
society. The government s duty presented here is to alleviate social ills, to protect civil liberties, and
protect individuals and human rights. The government s crucial role in a liberalistic society is to
guarantee that no one is in need, and that liberal policies stress the need for the government to solve
problems. From an egalitarian sense, liberalism focuses on attaining more equal distributions of
income and well being than that that would be generated in the market place otherwise. In a country
where freedom and equality play a major role, taking on liberal policies would

Animals And Animal Rights
Introduction, animals that are being tested safety of their products that s been a subject of an intense
debate for over 10 years. While, a lot of people that alleged animals, the remained animals are being
subjugated by the research cosmetics companies all over the country/all over the world. Even though,
the scientists frequently profit from animal research, I don t think all the suffering, the pain, and the
animals dying are worth just trying find out the human benefits from the products. Foremost, the
animal s rights were dishonored when they are used in experiments. Humans and animals are very
similar in a lot of ways, such as both humans and animals think, they behave, experience pain and they
have feelings too. Therefore, animals must remain preserved with the same admiration as us humans.
Even though, the animal s rights had been dishonored when they re being used in examination because
they can t say no. The Animals are endangered because of the tests, the tests often cause permanent
damage or even death. The animals never have the option if they want to do the experiment. Animals
don t just freely give up themselves for the development for new technology. The scientist makes the
animals decision for them whether they like it or not. Their decisions are made for them because they
cannot tell them what they do or don t want to happen to them. When the scientist chooses the animals
destiny in their experimental environments, the animal s rights are taken away

Mosaics in Early Byzantine Era
The increase in mosaics in churches in Late Antiquity and the Byzantine Era was largely due to the
influence of the Roman Emperor Constantine (ruled from 306 to 337 AD). During his rule as emperor,
Christianity became the major religion and there was a push for more buildings to house the followers
of Christ. Along with the new buildings there was a need to decorate these places of worship
accordingly and express the religion in a grandiose sort of way. Mosaics were generally the
inexpensive and impressive answer that was used to convey the church s message. Through mosaics,
the people of the church could learn and be informed of the spiritual and cultural symbolism (Kleiner
and Mamiya 313).
Early mosaics before this time period had ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

the gold background, and the rainbow hued clouds above. Saint Vitale, who was martyred in the
second century, is just to the right of Christ. An angel is introducing Saint Vitale while Christ offers
him a wreath. On the left of Christ, another angel introduces Bishop Ecclesius who presents a small
model of the church of San Vitale (Kleiner and Mamiya 332 336).
On the lower north wall to the left and below the apse mosaic, Justinian, Bishop Maximianus, and
others are shown in a mosaic rich in color. There are three groupings in this mosaic, the emperor and
his staff, the clergy, and the imperial guard. Justinian is in the center garbed in his purple robe and
depicted with a halo representing the god given powers of the emperor. To his left are Bishop
Maximianus and two clergymen. The bishop was given a level of importance by the inscription of his
name above his head. The emperor appears slightly behind the bishop when looking at their feet but
his shoulder is depicted in front of the bishop s. To Justinian s right is the imperial guard holding a
shield with the monogram of Christ. The artist depicts importance by showing the feet of the leader of
each group overlapping the others while depicting the powers of the church and the emperor on an
equal level (Kleiner and Mamiya 332 336).

Essay about The Schlieffen Plan by Alfred Von Schlieffen
In this essay I will explain what Schlieffen plan was and why it did not work step by step.It began
when Germany declare war on Russia and France. However their allies Britain and Belgium stepped
in to help while Austro Hungary was alliance to Germany. The Schlieffen plan had been created by
Alfred Von Schlieffen but he had died before world war one started. The plan was meant to be
foolproof. First of all, Germany planned to defeat France quickly by marching through Belgium
before Russia could get involved. It was intended to avoid a war on two fronts. Germany believed that
Russia would take six weeks to mobilize their troops. Germany would hold the French on the frontier
with their weak forces and follow this by holding up Russian ... Show more content on

This resulted in the German advance being further delayed. Furthermore, I will describe how French
troops retreated to defend Paris from the German advance. The Germans imagined that their
advancement would be speedy and France would not be able to defend. Nevertheless, France was able
to actually relocate their troops very quickly and effectively. France had a war plan, it was called Plan
XVII and it was essentially offensive form the Maginot line into Alsace Lorraine. Eventually, over
300,000 French soldiers were killed within two weeks. The French generals then abandoned Plan
XVII, they ordered their forces to return to protect Paris. The mobilisation of the French troops were
done by train, taxis and marching, together with help from Britain and Belgium to slow German
advancement. This enabled France to succeed in mobilisation of their troops. The German greatly
underestimated how well France would be able to do this. By te time the Germans arrived in france
the french troops were there already waiting for them, France force were ready and well prepared.
Moreover, I will explain how the Russian mobilisation of the army was much more quickly than
expected. The mobilisation began on 26th July, when it became evident that Austria hungary would
not stand for Serbia s partial acceptance of their demand. Germany thought that Russian would take at
least six weeks to move. In the reality, Russia

Osama Bin Laden, A Powerful Leader
Osama bin Laden is a powerful influential leader to his followers. He also has significance approaches
to them as well. Bin laden created a new group in 1988 called al Qaeda ( the base ) to where it would
focus on a symbolic act of terrorism instead of military campaign. A year later in 1989 the Soviets
withdrew from Afghanistan, soon after that bin laden returned to Saudi Arabia to step up fundraising
for the new and more complicated mission (History.com 2009). The pro Western Saudi royal family
feared that bin Laden s fiery pan Islamist rhetoric might cause trouble in the kingdom, so they tried to
keep him quite as they could. Therefore, the royal family took away his passport and refused to accept
his offer to send Afghan Arabs to guard the borders after Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990 (History.com
2009). However, the Saudi royal family did not make it any better when they sought help from the
infidel U.S. instead. Since bin Laden was furious about being snubbed by the Saudi royal family, he
vowed that it would be al Qaeda, and not the Americans, who would one day; prove to be master of
this world.
Osama bin Laden kept his promise when he said that al Qaeda would be the master of the world. Bin
Laden, was best viewed as a terrorist CEO, where he essentially applied the techniques of business
administration and modern management, which he had learned both from his family s construction
business and at the university, to the running of a transnational terrorist

American Liberal Democracy
From a political perspective or more specifically the Democratic side of the American Liberal
Democracy, we can also find examples showing that the USA did not show favourable behaviour
towards its practice of Liberalism. A law can be created, passed or vetoed by three different arms of
the government: the president, the House of Representatives and the Senate.
At first sight it seems like this organisation of power is in correlation with Democracy. Nevertheless
because different political parties rules those three arms of government, this coalition has blocked the
resolution of certain conflict or issues regardless of the people s opinion.

The finance industry is primarily a service industry and therefore is there to serve people. The power
taken and given to this industry does not represent a democracy. In 1982, even though it goes against
the Glass Steagall Act of 1933 (passed after the Great Depression in order to control banks and
prohibit commercial banks from using depositor s savings to invest in speculative instruments), the
Reagan administration enabled the deregulation of the American financial market. By the end of the
decade, hundreds of savings and loan companies had failed, this crisis cost tax payers $124 billion and
cost many people their life s savings (Inside Job). Nevertheless, deregulation stayed in place and saw

Christian Coaching Chapter 1 Summary
This chapter book, Christian coaching: Helping others turn potential into reality by Collins G. A
(2009), talks about life coaching as a Christian. Also, what it takes to be a good coach. According to
Collins (2009), good coaching is helping another in the present so that he or she is self motivated and
equipped to do better in the future (p. 28). Life coaching is coaching an individual on how to reach
their potential in life. Guiding them through life transitions, and to goals that that they may have.
However, in this book, Collins also explain how to coach them from a Christian perspective. Showing
and guiding these individuals to be effective in life but being effective living in God s purpose. In this

How Did The Crusades Affect The World
The crusades were a series of wars mainly between the Christians and Muslims over the holy city of
Jerusalem. The Crusades lasted some 200 years. The two religions didn t see eye to eye, the Christians
saw the Islamic religion as a threat to Christianity. In the year 1095 Pope Urban II charged a crusade
against the muslims in Jerusalem. Many people went on a crusade for different reasons. Many were
strictly religious, while others were money related, some even went to avoid imprisonment. The
Crusades still impact the world we live in today. There are many lasting effects that the crusades had
on that part of the world and some even worldwide.
The crusades are important because they were the first time that peoples religion caused them to go to
war. People were brainwashed into thinking that what they were doing was God s will. People were
driven to do things that were one hundred percent contradictory to their religions teachings, the bible
says thou shall not kill . The holy city of Jerusalem is an important place for multiple religions. Two of
the larger ones are Christianity and Islam. These two have many things in common, their differences
are quite minimal compared to other religions. One Pope declared the crusade to regain the city for
Christianity, and it caused not only 200 years of blood battles and crimes, but issues still arise today. ...

The Pros And Cons Of The DREAM Act
About 400,000 illegal immigrants come to the United States each year, each one with their own story
and reasons. These illegal immigrants often have sorrowful stories that make you want to sympathize
with them, but these immigrants never think about how their presence affects the United States. On
September 5th, President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the end of the DACA
program; they contended that undocumented immigrants took economic opportunities away from
citizens and lawful permanent residents (DREAM). The DACA program was created in 2012 by
President Obama and allowed illegal immigrants to stay in the United States. Recently, President
Trump ended the program, but gave Congress a window to formulate a better plan ... Show more

Many proponents of the DREAM Act argue that these kids were brought to the United States before
they had a say in their life circumstances. Denying them hope and opportunity is punishment for an
act beyond their control (Fitz). Supporters of the DREAM Act continually advertise this argument;
They claim that the children are innocent, and the United States is treating these children unjustly, but
not rewarding them with legal residence and expensive college tuition subsidies is simply withholding
benefits to which they never had any entitlement in the first place (Mehlman). These children are
innocent, and deserve to be given an opportunity to come to the United States and have a good
education, but it should not be through the DREAM Act or illegal immigration. It is not un American
to prioritize United States citizens, and other immigrants waiting to enter the country legally. A gross
misconception is that DACA is only opposed by a radical few who want to hurt innocent children and
families, but a recent Quinnipiac University poll shows that Americans across the political spectrum
favor tougher enforcement of existing immigration laws over rolling out the amnesty welcome wagon.
(Malkin). Despite this poll, many patrons of the DREAM Act think that continued amnesty is a right
the United States is taking away, when in truth, the general public supports tougher immigration law.
The DREAM literally goes against popular opinion, as it sponsors amnesty, and not harsher
immigration

One of the most prominent reasons behind the widespread acceptance of the Annie Hall movie is its
difference in the cultural movements that the movie represents. As the pop culture is getting famous in
the 1970, there are also some other cultural changes that are happening because of these factors. Both
of the characters are seeing therapists, doing drugs, wandering off in the city serious and have
concerns about their future. It is a cultural shock to the audience as it is presented for the first time in
any 1970 movie. Moreover, the movie also presents some cultural movements, as the disbelief and
paranoia of Alvy originates because of the unstable political government at that time. Therefore, he
also participates in a protest to make fun of the Eisenhower. Moreover, the movie also presents some
of the effects of the World War II. Furthermore, Alvy has difficulties in adjusting to the superficial
culture of Los Angeles. He is always attached to the culture of New York because it is his home as
well as the favorite place. On the other hand, the city of Los Angeles is empty from glamor, and he
never feels comfortable in Los Angeles. Therefore, when Annie moves from New York to Los

Inclusion and IDEA provide the child with a plan of services called the Individualized Education

Legal Case Study On Legal Cases Essay
Legal Case Study
Background of two legal cases The two legal cases I studied involved sexual harassment. Both cases
were similar, in that each involved multiple people and the plaintiffs were terminated in retaliation for
reporting the alleged violations. In the first case, three female employees reported claims of sexual
harassment against a warehouse supervisor with New Breed Logistics. The three stated they were
subjected to lewd, obscene and vulgar sexual remarks, as well as, unwelcome sexual touching.
Additionally, a male employee supported the allegations and agreed to be a witness to substantiate the
women s claims. In retaliation against the employees, a supervisor with the company terminated the
three female employees, along with the male employee (U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity

and hoping for a settlement. She also now lacked a great leader such as Pericles or even Alcibiades.
And, finally, politics kept interfering with the war the ancient conflict between the aristocrats and the
democrats (Knox). Since the Spartans realized that the Athenians had been defeated by the Sicilians,
they used this opportunity to make the Athenian Empire finally surrender, they joined forces with the
Persian army. Sparta, now receiving support from Persia, supported rebellions in Athens subject states
in the Aegean Sea and Ionia, undermining Athens empire, and, eventually, depriving the city of naval
supremacy. The destruction of Athens fleet at Aegospotami effectively ended the war, and Athens
surrendered in the following year. The Peloponnesian War reshaped the Ancient Greek world. On the
level of international relations, Athens, the strongest city state in Greece prior to the war s beginning,
was reduced to a state of near complete subjection, while Sparta became established as the leading
power of Greece

Affluenza Case Study
My article was about a sixteen year old male who killed four people by choosing to drink and drive.
This teen was in court in twenty thirteen, and was pleading that he had affluenza, which caused the
accident. During this court process, he was given ten years probation, which means he can not drink
during his probation, and must check in with his officer. The Teen was found at a party drinking, so
because he had broken his ten year probation deal, he decided to flee. They attempted to look for his
mother and him, but he was nowhere to be found. The police officers looked in the family s million
dollar home, and no one was there. His court hearing was about him illegally driving on a restricted
license and speeding, lost control, plowed

Reasons For Mass Shootings
It was a quiet morning of December 14, 2012 in Newtown, CT, USA during the usual winter weather
in New England state, with people preparing for the Christmas holidays. What happened next has
triggered consequences of starting the major debate on gun control with the creation of a presidential
task force charged with recommending solutions to the problem of gun violence, and more specific,
public mass shootings. That is when 20 year old tall and lanky man named Adam Lanza made his way
to the Sandy Hook Elementary School and cold bloodedly murdered 20 children between six and
seven years old, as well as six adult staff members. Minutes before, he shot dead his own mother at
their Newtown home... It was not neither first nor last of wanton mass killings of strangers/innocent
bystanders (children) with deliberate attempt to deprive them of their lives without any tangible gain
or explainable reasoning, motives happening in the US.
This paper will look into, the constituting factors to the mass shootings in the US. It will examine
variables, such as: Social Construct, Mental Illness, Quest for Fame, Revenge, Terrorism as well as
profiteers ( the usual suspects ): Gun Manufacture s Industry, Hollywood Movies, Mass Media, Video
Gaming and National Rifle Association ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

United States suppose to be the land of unlimited opportunities, where in order to have a prosperous
normal life and attain happiness people do not have to resort to murder, a lot of times perpetrators
were from very well off families, they even were enrolled in prestigious schools: Adam Lanza, Elliott
Rogers, Holmes had everything lined up for them to be content and happy. Several scholar articles
suggested that many factors played a major role in brewing the environment for large scale murder to

Robot Takeover Essay
Since before the standing of the Luddites, society has had a fear of technology and it s advances into
the job market. According to Volti, (2012), job security is an important factor is people s satisfaction in
life and on the job (p. 199), and with the threat of anyone or thing taking over is extremely unsettling.
During the Industrial Revolution, people saw technology advancing and replacing people in factories
which enhanced fears of a complete take over. Decades have passed and we have not seen the
overtaking by these machines because the machines are dependent on human maintenance and
programing, but with the fast, exponential rate of the advancement of artificial intelligence, will
technology finally encroach on most positions now held by humans? There are arguments on both
sides of the line, some stating new positions will be created with the help of technology, others say
humans are doomed and the robot takeover is closer than we think. Whichever side of the line they
lean towards, one thing they all agree upon is that robots, artificial intelligence will be a common site
in most all fascist of society. Arntz, Gregory and Zierahn (2017), believe current statistics, stating up
to half of all jobs are at risk of takeover by automation, do not consider tasks and jobs that will be
created to assist technology (p. 157). Just as during the Industrial Revolution when the Luddites
believed technology would take over, currently no one can foresee what new positions will

Elizabeth Barrett Browning And F. Scott Fitzgerald s The...
The universal values portrayed through the texts Sonnets from the Portuguese (1845) by Elizabeth
Barrett Browning and F. Scott Fitzgerald s novel The Great Gatsby (1926) highlight the similar and
different intertextual perspectives and values relevant to the Victorian Era and 1920 s Jazz Age. Both
composers offer compelling critiques of their society dedicating thematic concerns of the restorative
power of hope and courtly idealised love. Through numerous literal techniques, substantial diversity
arises through the historical context, composer s personal experiences, and human values.
The restorative power of hope is a significant universal value in the setting of the Victorian era
focusing on female empowerment. Browning cultivates ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Compare And Contrast Rear Window
In both the movie, Rear Window, and the short story, It had to be Murder, there are numerous
similarities and differences that are noticed. Overall it is a story of a man that is wheelchair bound at
home who passes time by people watching. When people watching, the man named Jeff notices
unusual things taking place in a neighbors apartment. The neighbor named Mr. Thorwald has an ill
wife at home that is bed bound. The narrator Jeff one day realises that the wife Ann, is no longer in
bed and that Mr. Thorwald was beginning to act unusual.A big similarity in the movie and the story is
that Jeff is convinced that Mr. Thorwald murdered his sick wife. In both the movie and story jeff tries
to convince himself, and his friend thats a detective ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
An example of this is when Mr.Thorwald breaks into the main character Jeff s apartment and tries to
attack him. In the short story Thorwald catches on eventually to who knows about his crime, finds out
where Jeff lives, quietly breaks into his home and tries to shoot Jeff. This was very intense and
suspense full because from Jeffs point of view we did not know who was breaking into the house, and
what they would do, He d be up in a minute. He must be on the stairs now, although I couldn t hear
him. Not even a creak. A creak would have been a reliec, would have placed him. This was like being
shut up in the dark with the silence of a gliding, coiling cobra somewhere around you (Hitchcock,
1954). Because we did not know who the invader was and what weapon they could of had, we did not
know if the bust would protect him. This tension was executed slightly different in the movie. In the
movie, we see the man walk up the stairs, we are not aware of a weapon but once thorwald breaks in
and starts to yell at jeff we see that there is not gun. Jeff in this situation chooses to protect himself by
using his camera flash to stun the man (Woolrich, n.d.). This approach seems as if it will not protect
him just like the bust in the movie and we go throughout the scene tense, hoping it will buy jeff time
or protect him

Wilkes Booth and several alliances were first planning to kidnap Lincoln. If they had succeeded, they
would have taken him to Richmond, the capital of the south. But on that night Lincoln never showed

Organizational Culture and Its Importance
There is no single definition for organizational culture. The topic has been studied from a variety of
perspectives ranging from disciplines such as anthropology and sociology, to the applied disciplines of
organizational behaviour, management science, and organizational communication. Some of the
definitions are listed below:
A set of common understandings around which action is organized; finding expression in language
whose nuances are peculiar to the group (Becker and Geer 1960).
A set of understandings or meanings shared by a group of people that are largely tacit among members
and are clearly relevant and distinctive to the particular group which are also passed on to new
members (Louis 1980).
A system of knowledge, of standards ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To understand culture, we must understand all three levels. One additional aspect complicates the
study of culture: the group or cultural unit which owns the culture. An organization may have many
different cultures or subcultures, or even no discernible dominant culture at the organizational level.
Recognizing the cultural unit is essential to identifying and understanding the culture.
Organizational cultures are created, maintained, or transformed by people. An organization s culture
is, in part, also created and maintained by the organization s leadership. Leaders at the executive level
are the principle source for the generation and re infusion of an organization s ideology, articulation of
core values and specification of norms. Organizational values express preferences for certain
behaviours or certain outcomes. Organizational norms express behaviours accepted by others. They
are culturally acceptable ways of pursuing goals. Leaders also establish the parameters for formal lines
of communication and message content the formal interaction rules for the organization. Values and
norms, once transmitted through the organization, establish the permanence of the organization s
culture.
ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IS ALSO A SYNTHESIS OF SUBCULTURES
Sociologists discuss how distinct societies are composites of interacting subcultures rather than a
single overarching culture. Organizations consist of subgroups that

COMPARISON BETWWEN GELATIN AND OTHER HYDROCOLLOIDS All hydrocolloids are
polysaccharides except gelatin, a protein. When compared with gelatine, carrageen forms a brittle,
elastic gel. Pectin gels cannot produce elastic properties at all. Alginates gives clear, elastic gels, but
the melting point is too high. Except gelatine all other hydrocolloids form products with reduced
flavour profile. Starches create unpleasant texture. Gelatine is much cost effective. Other
hydrocolloids need big production process (Gelatine manufacturers of Europe, 2016)

At the moment, I am still unsure of what major and career I am going to pursue. I am looking into
different fields and what would interest me, and at the moment I am looking toward photography
related fields. One career that I have been interested in lately is a forensic photographer, or crime
scene photographer. They are called to crime scenes in order to take photographs for the law
enforcement, so they can study them for future purposes. Cases can take months or even years to
solve, so these photographs help preserve the original scene and evidence. Not only do they take
pictures of the overall scene, but of different objects in the room or area as well to give investigating
officers a feel of what happened.

con, is that I would be dealing with grueling work and evidence everyday, and eventually this may

Essay about What Really Happened During the First...
There can be countless records of the same event, and while many times each record is different, there
are also incidents in which one needs to know every record to piece together what really happened.
The story of the first Thanksgiving takes place in 1621, and is generally known as a meal that was
shared between the Pilgrims and the Indians. For the Pilgrims, this was a harvest festival, much like
one they would have had in England. For the Indians, it was a show of hospitality from the Pilgrims,
similar to what they would expect from visiting another Indian tribe. With being told only that, one
can already see that there are already two very different histories of the same event recorded. Of
greater interest, perhaps, are the different ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The History Channel s Desperate Crossing tells the story of the Pilgrims, their journey to Plymouth,
their horrible first year, and finally, the first Thanksgiving. Desperate Crossing follows the accounts of
both Winslow and Bradford fairly well, but begins to deviate slightly. They show that the Pilgrims and
Indians played games, drank, and raced, and competed together, some of which are only vaguely and
briefly alluded to by Winslow, and never by Bradford. The History Channel also shows a much more
tense situation than the impression given from Bradford and Winslow. According to the History
Channel, everything from Massasoit showing up with his ninety some men and the Pilgrims firing
their arms is all a display of strength from both sides.
The History Channel obviously takes some liberties in their presentation of history. Winslow and
Bradford do not mention anything about the clothing worn, if there was any drinking involved, if there
was silverware, where the feasts were held, and many other seemingly trivial details. Desperate
Crossing makes some assumptions on what took place in 1621, but it does quote both Winslow and
Bradford word for word. While we re shown a picture that may or may not actually represent what
took place at the first Thanksgiving, at the very least, we re given Winslow s and Bradford s
descriptions of it. The History Channel used what was already known from the eye witness accounts
combined with what

Leadership
There are lot of literatures which focuses on the role of leadership in BPM efforts (e.g. Ahadi (2004)
and Sutcliffe (1999)); the role of leadership in BPM process leads to the process driving, monitoring
and controlling. Hammer and Champy (1993) said that the reason for most of the failures in business
process changes is the lack of leadership. They explained a senior management leader should be
effective in eliminating the political issues among the employees in the organization, should be
capable of providing a suitable structure for compensations, solving the conflicts between the
managers and the employees and should lead the IT department in organizations.
The senior management should have high power which lead to effective implementation of BPM
projects.
Leadership is very important in different phases and levels of implementation of BPM projects and
some of its affects in the process have been explained widely in different research.
Leadership in BPM Success context can be classified in to two main sub constructs. They are as

The United States 1932 Election Essay
The United States 1932 Election Many historians believe that the 1932 election was a popularity
competition, with the prize being the chief of the white house. This is because they thought that
Hoover s inability to revive the depressed economy, and his lack of a personality that reaches out to
the average American, provided Roosevelt (who was very popular) with a path to victory. I shall
discuss this view, with points in favour and points that argue Roosevelt had an appealing policy and
opinions that ensured his triumph which did not rely on Hoover s incompetence and lack of charm.
Beginning with the points in favour, it becomes easy to understand the principle behind the
aforementioned ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another point, which greatly affected Hoover s chances of winning, was his inconsistency in methods.
At first, he was dependant on voluntarism (charities and businesses helping at their own will) to solve
the problem of the depression. Hoover implemented the POUR organisation to help the unemployed,
but it only used donated money. The charity Red Cross, by 1931 could only provide 75 cents a week
for hungry families. The situation had developed far beyond the ability of private charity to cope
(source 3). His inconsistency is shown when he alters his approach from opposing direct government
aid and laissez fair (to leave alone), to intervention. He personally gave up a fifth of his income. In
January, congress provided $2 billion in funding a new agency, the reconstruction finance corporation
(which makes loans to large economic organisations) and in February, Hoover signed the Glass
Steagell act, which allocated £750 million of gold reserves to businesses. However, what he did was
too little too late. Roosevelt s strength was that he was quick to capitalise on the republicans failures in
their approach of voluntarism and this gave him an advantage, as the American public was willing to
try something new. Roosevelt once said in a speech for his election campaign in 1932: Whatever

What The Privileged Class Ignorant What the Privileged Class Ignorant Since the second youngest Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was elected, his spouse, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, also got attention, and has volunteered for lots of charitable events. However, in an interview, she said, I d love to be everywhere, but I can t. I have three children and a husband who is the Prime Minister. I need help. I need a team to help me serve the people. (LAVOIE) Because of this, many people realized that she is surrounded by bulging schedule that she can t even handle her children. Although these days, people who try to understand women s point of view is tend to be seen open minded or considerate people, the idea that she should receive extra staff to help her promote the nation is an improper solution that can cause many problems. If she receives more staff, the PM s spouse s weight of the role will increase. The problem of this is that it will gradually decrease women s position in Canadian society. Before she got married, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau was a former TV presenter. However, now she works as first lady even though she hasn t done any political experience, and there s no official role and title for the PM s spouse. Because of this, in citizens , especially in women s point of view, it can be thought following husband s life and being an assembly of husband is successful women s life. • 5. The Problem Of The Healthcare Crisis Essay There is a sad sort of irony these days when using the phrase healthcare. Is the focus truly on the health or care of the patients any longer, or on the potential earnings of insurance companies and other stockholders? Since the introduction of the third party payor concept decades ago, the industry has set the stage for insurance company management of healthcare. This paradigm has ensured that the costs of care remain high while the quality has diminished. What (or Who) is Behind the Current Crisis? Singling out one specific cause of the healthcare crisis is like trying to name one thing that s wrong with boy bands there are simply far too many things to point to. If we had to list some of the reasons consumers and providers alike are finding it difficult to navigate the current landscape, we would include things like reimbursements being fixed at lowering rates, overhead expenses increasing for physicians, a constant influx of insurance and government mandates, more paperwork and bureaucracy in medicine in general, malpractice litigation, understaffing of hospitals and private practices, complex policies leading to lack of interoperability, and diminished patient and doctor engagement. There is also the fact that the industry has become increasingly fragmented. Consider that nearly 50% of healthcare spending in this country is publicly funded by federal, state, and county level governments through various entitlement programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and the ... • 6. Liberalism Is The Root Of Our American Soil Essay We have all heard the terms right wing conservatives and left wing liberals, but many people are not quite sure which wing is correct. Although both sides have good arguments for separate issues, in my opinion, liberalism should be guiding our thinking when it comes to our economic ways, and political rights; liberalism is the root of our American soil. Many people believe that steering away from liberalism is the right way to create change, and build upon our freedoms, but by returning to what our country was built upon, we can continue the aim of a free, fair and prosperous society. This paper will guide you through the two main phases of liberalism: classical and modern; their manifestations; and how as a democracy, liberalism represents a strategy practical for a free society. Liberals believe government action works to achieve equal opportunity and equalities for every individual in our society. The government s duty presented here is to alleviate social ills, to protect civil liberties, and protect individuals and human rights. The government s crucial role in a liberalistic society is to guarantee that no one is in need, and that liberal policies stress the need for the government to solve problems. From an egalitarian sense, liberalism focuses on attaining more equal distributions of income and well being than that that would be generated in the market place otherwise. In a country where freedom and equality play a major role, taking on liberal policies would ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

While, a lot of people that alleged animals, the remained animals are being subjugated by the research cosmetics companies all over the country/all over the world. Foremost, the animal s rights were dishonored when they are used in experiments. Humans and animals are very similar in a lot of ways, such as both humans and animals think, they behave, experience pain and they have feelings too. Therefore, animals must remain preserved with the same admiration as us humans. Even though, the animal s rights had been dishonored when they re being used in examination because they can t say no. The Animals are endangered because of the tests, the tests often cause permanent damage or even death. The animals never have the option if they want to do the experiment. Animals don t just freely give up themselves for the development for new technology. The scientist makes the animals decision for them whether they like it or not. Their decisions are made for them because they cannot tell them what they do or don t want to happen to them. • 8. Mosaics in Early Byzantine Era The increase in mosaics in churches in Late Antiquity and the Byzantine Era was largely due to the influence of the Roman Emperor Constantine (ruled from 306 to 337 AD). During his rule as emperor, Christianity became the major religion and there was a push for more buildings to house the followers of Christ. Along with the new buildings there was a need to decorate these places of worship accordingly and express the religion in a grandiose sort of way. Mosaics were generally the inexpensive and impressive answer that was used to convey the church s message. Through mosaics, the people of the church could learn and be informed of the spiritual and cultural symbolism (Kleiner and Mamiya 313). Early mosaics before this time period had ... On the left of Christ, another angel introduces Bishop Ecclesius who presents a small model of the church of San Vitale (Kleiner and Mamiya 332 336). On the lower north wall to the left and below the apse mosaic, Justinian, Bishop Maximianus, and others are shown in a mosaic rich in color. There are three groupings in this mosaic, the emperor and his staff, the clergy, and the imperial guard. Justinian is in the center garbed in his purple robe and depicted with a halo representing the god given powers of the emperor. To his left are Bishop Maximianus and two clergymen. The bishop was given a level of importance by the inscription of his name above his head. The emperor appears slightly behind the bishop when looking at their feet but his shoulder is depicted in front of the bishop s. To Justinian s right is the imperial guard holding a shield with the monogram of Christ. • 9. Essay about The Schlieffen Plan by Alfred Von Schlieffen In this essay I will explain what Schlieffen plan was and why it did not work step by step.It began when Germany declare war on Russia and France. However their allies Britain and Belgium stepped in to help while Austro Hungary was alliance to Germany. The Schlieffen plan had been created by Alfred Von Schlieffen but he had died before world war one started. The plan was meant to be foolproof. First of all, Germany planned to defeat France quickly by marching through Belgium before Russia could get involved. It was intended to avoid a war on two fronts. Germany believed that Russia would take six weeks to mobilize their troops. Germany would hold the French on the frontier with their weak forces and follow this by holding up Russian ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This resulted in the German advance being further delayed. Furthermore, I will describe how French troops retreated to defend Paris from the German advance. The Germans imagined that their advancement would be speedy and France would not be able to defend. Nevertheless, France was able to actually relocate their troops very quickly and effectively. France had a war plan, it was called Plan XVII and it was essentially offensive form the Maginot line into Alsace Lorraine. Eventually, over 300,000 French soldiers were killed within two weeks. The French generals then abandoned Plan XVII, they ordered their forces to return to protect Paris. The mobilisation of the French troops were done by train, taxis and marching, together with help from Britain and Belgium to slow German advancement. This enabled France to succeed in mobilisation of their troops. The German greatly underestimated how well France would be able to do this. By te time the Germans arrived in france the french troops were there already waiting for them, France force were ready and well prepared. Moreover, I will explain how the Russian mobilisation of the army was much more quickly than expected. The mobilisation began on 26th July, when it became evident that Austria hungary would not stand for Serbia s partial acceptance of their demand. • 10. Osama Bin Laden, A Powerful Leader Osama bin Laden is a powerful influential leader to his followers. He also has significance approaches to them as well. Bin laden created a new group in 1988 called al Qaeda ( the base ) to where it would focus on a symbolic act of terrorism instead of military campaign. A year later in 1989 the Soviets withdrew from Afghanistan, soon after that bin laden returned to Saudi Arabia to step up fundraising for the new and more complicated mission (History.com 2009). The pro Western Saudi royal family feared that bin Laden s fiery pan Islamist rhetoric might cause trouble in the kingdom, so they tried to keep him quite as they could. • 13. How Did The Crusades Affect The World The crusades were a series of wars mainly between the Christians and Muslims over the holy city of Jerusalem. The Crusades lasted some 200 years. The two religions didn t see eye to eye, the Christians saw the Islamic religion as a threat to Christianity. In the year 1095 Pope Urban II charged a crusade against the muslims in Jerusalem. Many people went on a crusade for different reasons. Many were strictly religious, while others were money related, some even went to avoid imprisonment. The Crusades still impact the world we live in today. There are many lasting effects that the crusades had on that part of the world and some even worldwide. The crusades are important because they were the first time that peoples religion caused them to go to war. People were brainwashed into thinking that what they were doing was God s will. People were driven to do things that were one hundred percent contradictory to their religions teachings, the bible says thou shall not kill . The holy city of Jerusalem is an important place for multiple religions. Two of the larger ones are Christianity and Islam. These two have many things in common, their differences are quite minimal compared to other religions. These illegal immigrants often have sorrowful stories that make you want to sympathize with them, but these immigrants never think about how their presence affects the United States. On September 5th, President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the end of the DACA program; they contended that undocumented immigrants took economic opportunities away from citizens and lawful permanent residents (DREAM). Many proponents of the DREAM Act argue that these kids were brought to the United States before they had a say in their life circumstances. Denying them hope and opportunity is punishment for an act beyond their control (Fitz). Supporters of the DREAM Act continually advertise this argument; They claim that the children are innocent, and the United States is treating these children unjustly, but not rewarding them with legal residence and expensive college tuition subsidies is simply withholding benefits to which they never had any entitlement in the first place (Mehlman). These children are innocent, and deserve to be given an opportunity to come to the United States and have a good education, but it should not be through the DREAM Act or illegal immigration. It is not un American to prioritize United States citizens, and other immigrants waiting to enter the country legally. A gross misconception is that DACA is only opposed by a radical few who want to hurt innocent children and families, but a recent Quinnipiac University poll shows that Americans across the political spectrum favor tougher enforcement of existing immigration laws over rolling out the amnesty welcome wagon. (Malkin). Despite this poll, many patrons of the DREAM Act think that continued amnesty is a right the United States is taking away, when in truth, the general public supports tougher immigration law. The United States 1932 Election Essay The United States 1932 Election Many historians believe that the 1932 election was a popularity competition, with the prize being the chief of the white house. Roosevelt once said in a speech for his election campaign in 1932: Whatever ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
