Our story began more than 50 years ago when a nuclear physicist, Peter
Buck, spoke six simple words to a university student by the name of Fred
DeLuca. These words would lead to the world’s largest restaurant brand,
“let’s open a submarine sandwich shop.”
From a single restaurant in Bridgeport Connecticut in 1965, Subway®
