3. TITTLE: CONSEQUENCES OF TEENAGE PREGNANCIES AT
KABILA HEALTH CENTER, MAGU.
INTRODUCTION
Teenage pregnancy
-According to (WHO 2018) is defined as pregnancy under age of 20
years. Many teenage are neither physically nor psychologically ready for
pregnancy or childbirth. This reproductive event make them more
vulnerable to complication resulting devastating health consequence for
them.
4. STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
Pregnancy in teenage is a danger to mothers, as the body is not
sufficiently prepared to carry a fetus, this leads to teen mother in a
position to become undernourished and suffer premature or prolonged
labour which is a risk to a permanent morbidity or death.
In Kabila HC, Teenage pregnancy is a serious problem as the number of
teenage increases. Which put them into high risk to develop
consequences such as pre term birth, low birth weight, abortion, pre
eclampsia, anemia and even can lead to death.
5. JUSTIFICATION OF THE STUDY
The aim and purpose to conduct this research is to know the
consequences that rise to teen mothers so that can help on inform
ministry of health, policies, education programs and support systems,
ultimately contribute to the well being of young parents, their children
and the community.
Also this study can guide interventions to mitigate negative outcomes
and promote positives healthier outcomes for teenagers.
6. OBJECTIVES

To determine the consequences of teenage pregnancies in Kabila HC.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE
To determine the consequences of teenage pregnancy among teenagers.
7. METHODOLOGY
STUDY DESIGN CROSS SECTIONAL STUDY
EILL BE USED
STUDY AREA At KABILA HEALTH CENTER.
STUDY POPULATION The adolescence who attended at Kabila HC
on RCH clinic and labour ward.
SAMPLE SIZE Minimum of 50 teenagers at Kabila Health
center.

MTUHA(Book 6,7,12) and Questionnaire..
DATA PROCESS AND ANALYSIS Data will be enter in Microsoft word and
analyzed manually also summarized into
frequency table and charts.
