Abstract
Advent of disruptive ideas in products and faster pre launch cycles of shifting between product
ideation and designing call for faster, better and effective product development frameworks. The white

À la carte Product Development.
The concept of having re usable software and hardware components which can be used for product
developments have been in vogue for quite some time but in form of frameworks conforming to
different standards which need good learning time from their users perspective. À la carte Product
Development aims at having a single portal which can span across the lifecycle of product
development. The portal would have all the interactions and modules that can be made available as a
service.
The thought process aims to bring down new product development to something as simple as selecting
client interfacing UI pages, logging services, databases, cloud based hardware infrastructure, support
management workflows, weekly maintenance activities as simple services which can be selected from
a list in the dropdown of the menu at the À la carte Product Development portal . Once a confirmation
to avail these services in the product is entered, the hardware and software modules would auto
configure and export to produce a ready to deploy application.
The process of having loosely coupled hardware and software components help in making the
objective of robust scalability of products a

Hobsbawm s The Golden Age Of Capitalism
The Golden Years were perhaps best characterized by the overwhelming economic dominance of the
USA and of the dollar, which had become dominant when the value of the British pound sterling
deteriorated as a result of the second World War. The US dollar was still linked to a specific quantity
of gold at the time. A return to laissez faire policies and the unconstructed free market was simply out
of the question. Specific political objectives had attained absolute priority, including full employment,
absolute containment of communism and modernization or revitalization of any and all economies that
were lagging behind. In practice, the Golden Age was an era of free trade, free capitalist movements
and stable currencies that had been orchestrated by astute wartime planners. The global economy was
becoming increasingly international, but it would not become transnational until later in the 1990s,
although new terms ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Like Hobsbawm, its authors provide an intelligent analysis of this critical period in the American
experience. The work details the historical context of the era, including evolution of macroeconomic
structure, the international order, systems of production, and the rules of coordination. A critical
element of the postwar macroeconomic structure (the set of mechanisms for managing the overall
level of economic performance, including output, performance and growth) was investment demand.
The new role of trade unions and the commitment to government intervention to maintain aggregate
demand proved essential to fostering a successful macroeconomic structure (Marglin,

Analysis Of Chasing Cpt And Leading The Sioc Testing At Cha1
Project Summary
I worked on many small projects this summer. However they can be summarized as follows: building
tools to improve quality and efficiency in the pack department; analyzing our process of chasing CPT
s and leading the SIOC testing at CHA1. I was able to build 3 tools, a Pack Head Count Macro
(Appendix A B), a Pack Rate Puller Macro (Appendix C D), and a Planning Board for Outbound
Macro (Appendix E F) all of these tools were created to be used on Day and Night Shift. I was able to
analyze the process of chasing CPT s using two methods, a profitability analysis and analyzing the
rates of packers. Finally, I helped start up and run SIOC testing at our site. To show the effectiveness
of the three tools I have created, I will explain how the process worked before the tool I created,
describe how my tool works, and then detail how it changed the process, for each tool. The analysis of
chasing CPT s I will first talk about our current CPT chasing program, then walk through my two
analyses. Then I will discuss how I set up SIOC testing, how I ensured it would continue running
successfully and the plan I have put in place to ensure it continues effectively once I leave. Then I will
talk about the benefits of each project. Finally, I will wrap up with a conclusion and
acknowledgements.
Pack Head Count Macro
Prior to my macro being used, process assistants (PA) would regularly call out for head counts. They
will call out to each process guide (PG) for a head

Piggy Lord Of The Flies Analysis
Rough Draft (not done)
In 1954, a war broke out in the adult world. Children were sent away on a plane that sadly crashed and
killed the pilot. The pilot was an adult and everyone else on board were children. Children were
stranded all over the island. Ralph was the first among the island that the Lord of the Flies mentioned.
Piggy, a short, fat, and smart boy was always slowed down by the creepers. Piggy has asthma and he
lived with his aunt who told him not to run because of his asthma. Piggy was seen as a weak boy, but
he gains confidence through all of the frustration, and he represents civilization, knowledge, and order.
Piggy holds onto what he has learned from the adult world and he goes against the savagery and
monster like behaviors. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Piggy was upset and wanted to go with Jack and Simon to figure out if they were on an island, but
Ralph told him he was not good for a job like that, and for him to stay behind to watch the littluns.
Piggy also stood up for a littlun when the littlun held out his hands for the conch to have permission to
speak. Piggy said, Let him have the conch! Let him have it (Golding p.35). As the littlun spoke, Piggy
interpreted that he saw a beastie, a snake like thing in the woods that came at night and blended in
with ropes hanging in the trees in the morning. This represented evil. Furthermore, the boys are more
interested in teasing Piggy, because of his disabilities than listening to his suggestions. Piggy s glasses
become an iconic object for his character. Glasses are associated with learning and reading; likewise

Case Study Of Direct Cost In Home Health
Costs Eighty percent of the direct cost in home health is related to personnel costs with the other
twenty percent are attributed to other costs (Cushman, 1984). Estimated direct costs based on home
health nurse working for Providence Health and Human Services earn a median wage of $ 73,000
annually ( RN Home health, 2017) and the wage for the DNP is estimated at $120,000 annually (

Autonomy is the concept of the patient having control over his or her own body ( Saint Joseph s
University, 2017), and with that control the patient must know enough to make informed decisions.
The front line staff will need to be aware of the cost benefit to different treatment plans and involve
the patient in the plan as a partner and not just a patient. Moreover, documenting the discussion and
decisions will prevent the appearance of fraudulent practices (Anderson Sandoff, 1999). The DNP
FNP nurse leader provides education and oversight aimed at compliance and best practice, the
American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) states the DNP FNP is to develop and evaluate
care delivery methods to address current and future needs of patient population with scientific findings
not restricted to nursing, but adding from other sciences, as well as organizational, and political
science ( American Association of Colleges of Nursing, 2006). All procedures and treatments should
be intended to help the patient reach their individual goals; to address this need the we will apply the
ethical construct of beneficence. To ensure beneficence, medical practitioners must develop and
maintain a high level of skill and knowledge, make sure that they are trained in the most current and
best medical practices, and must consider their patients

Breastfeeding Should Not Be Allowed In Public Essay
Breastfeeding is a complete natural way nourishing a baby from infant to toddler. Breastfeeding was
completely normal until the 1950s when formula was introduced. People around the world have
different opinions on breastfeeding in public (Hannan, Benton Davis, Grummer Strawn, 284). There
are many people who prefer a nursing mother to hide in the bathroom or sit in her car while nursing,
rather feeding her baby when he or she may get hungry, It is not always convenient for a mother to
hide when she has a hungry, fussy baby in her arms. They feel breastfeeding is not meant to be done in
public. However, breastfeeding is not illegal and should not be portrayed in a manner of indecency or
exposure.
Mothers nursing their children in the United States, Australia, Europe Asia and Africa have varied
legal rights while nursing in public. The United States have limited federal laws in the 49 states but
each state also has their own laws to govern breastfeeding in public. Many mothers who nurse will
carry a copy of the breastfeeding laws with them for those who try to unjustly act against them. The
laws apply to the federal government building and in public areas. In some countries like Saudi
Arabia, it is illegal for women to expose their breasts in public. Under the ... Show more content on

They agree that it is natural and compares to sex, nudity, urinating and defecation. It is a sign of
disrespect to some people who have to see the breastfeeding. Therefore, there should be designated
places for mothers to breastfeed. Besides, it is awkward and pointless for mothers to nurse in public.
There are modern technological products such as the breast pump. Women should express their breast;
prepare the breast milk in bottles to avoid public attention. There are public establishments that have
private places for nursing mothers and allow those mothers for some reasons cannot use breast pumps
to care safely for their children

The Between Islam And Middle Eastern Countries
America is predominantly known as the melting pot of the world. It has cultivated a variety of
populations in search for a new life. People from a variety of religions, races, and ethnicities live in
this country and call it their home. People whom identify as Muslims are one of the many groups of
people who live, work, and worship here. Since we live in a country where there are multiple religions
and races, it is important that we learn their customs and culture. Muslims most commonly originate
from Africa, and Middle Eastern countries. The religion of this group of people, Islam, developed in
the seventh century. Islam helps put life into perspective and gives hope to the hopeless . The beliefs
of Islam revolve around the Quran, which was written by the prophet Mohammad (Rippin, 2012 p. 5).
As stated by Armstrong (2012), the formation of Islam can be summarized as, a narrative that tells of
the revelations given to the Prophet, the migration to Medina, the battles of the early community, the
return to Mecca and the subsequent conquests under the Rightly Guided caliphs p. 88 . The religion of
Islam that Muslims identify with is fairly new as compared to other religious such as Judaism and
Christianity. The Quran holds three basic teachings; through law, the previous prophets ( Mohammed),
and the final judgment ( Enlightment). Some of this parallels to what Christians refer to as the
Doctrine and Bible of Christ. While many figures and stories found in the Quran

The computer misuse act was created to make it an offence to access a computer that someone is not
entitled to use.
Offences that are covered by the act include hacking, accessing computers without the authority to do
so and purposefully installing malware.
The act makes it illegal to access or to attempt to access a computer system without the correct
authorisation and If the hacker tries to get into the system but is unsuccessful they can be taken to
court for this.
The act introduced three criminal offences:
1. Accessing computer material with authority.

Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
The freedom of information act covers the right of the people to look up information that would be
held by a public body.
All institutions must have a procedure if a member of the public wishes to look for a document ie
enquire through a webpage.
The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 covers public information that falls under the
influence of the Scottish parliament.
The act has a wide reach however there are some documents that cannot be asked for by the public for
example the public cannot look a files from the ministry of defence for the sake of national security.
The act is a controversial one, because most public bodies would prefer to work in secret however
these requests have been turned down by the information commissioner for Scotland who is
responsible in such cases.
There is another act that works similarly to this it is known as the Environmental Information
Regulations 2004 which allows the people to gain information on the environment.

The Emergence Of The New Literary Movement
It seems every few decades the literary ground shifts. Romanticism and Realism dominated the latter
18th century well into the 19th century. Next came Modernism, arising in the 1900s. Soon after,
postmodernism took stage in the 1950s. Now into the 2000s, authors have performed remarkable feats
of literary creativity and diversity. Authors are evoking occurrences from the turn of the millennium
events and conflicts that are specific to the twenty first century. The new forms, tropes and theoretical
strategies in current literature have got literary critics asking: is there such thing as twenty first century
fiction a new type of novel that separates itself from the modernist and postmodernist novel in terms
of themes, styles, and characteristics? This paper reviews ten scholarly sources that argue for and
show examples of the emergence of the new literary movement of this century. This literature review
can be used by scholars interested in the next step in literature theory and how it is being defined and
debated among philosophers and critics.
In order to argue the birth of a new literary movement, the death of the previous must first be
established. In this case, Postmodernism is dead. At some point it stopped working, stopped being
relevant. The irony that saturated everything, the questioning of beliefs and narratives, the
dissatisfaction with modernity, the cynicism, all became exhausted. Whether the demise of
Postmodernism occurred because of material events like

The Importance of the First World War in Achieving Votes...
The Importance of the First World War in Achieving Votes for Women in 1918
The First World War had a serious effect on womens suffrage. Just as Britain was going to war against
Germany in August 1914, the WSPU declared peace with the Liberals. So in theory the war of the
sexes was swamped by the World War. However, it has been argued that the greatest effect of the war
on women s suffrage was that women were given the vote towards the end of it. In the past, historians
have generally agreed that women were awarded the vote as a symbol of thanks for their war work. As
ex prime minister Asquith says here:

therefore, the WSPU abandoned their violent methods and began demonstrating their loyalty to their
country and their right to the vote. Emelline Pankhurst even threw herself into a vicious campaign in
which the defeat of Germany took priority over women s suffrage. Pankhurst, along with her daughter,
Christabel were great assets in promoting the war effort. At home they called for the men of Britain to
sign up for the army, industrial conscription for women and the abolition of trade unions. juve1211,

divided over the war because whilst some members supported it others did not. However, almost all of
the Suffragists were active in wartime relief work and this overcame some of the divisions within the
NUWSS. In contrast to the WSPU, the NUWSS remained committed to women s suffrage. This meant
it left its organisational structure intact, giving it the chance to restart suffrage activities when the time
was right. This was important, for whenever the franchise question was raised in the House of
Commons, the NUWSS were well written about in the press, and well thought of by the trade union
and the government in support of women s suffrage.

finding would need a further evaluation. Percussion: I would put my two fingers on the area of my

on their verbal and non verbal to determine how painful the area is. This technique would help me

The Pros And Cons Of Saddam Hussein
The two most effective options are containment and invasion, as they utilize military force to remove
Saddam Hussein from power. Invasion is a viable solution because Hussein is a dangerous threat and
needs to be removed from power immediately. Saddam Hussein has repeatedly proven to be
uncooperative and deceptive in dealing with the United Nations weapons inspections. Also, defeating
the dictatorship in Iraq will send a message to other countries, just by mobilizing their troops that this
behavior will not be tolerated by the United States, and that we are willing to invade, regardless of
support from other powers (Mack). The regime in Iraq is a threat to the Iraqi people, the citizens of the
United States, and all of the surrounding countries. Saddam has been threatened and warned, but still
avoids weapons regulations. A historian explained, We re not going to tackle Saddam Hussein, we re
going to leave this (Inaudible) dictator in power. It s pretty obvious how it would look. It would look
that the West was scared of Saddam Hussein, it would appear that Saddam Hussein had faced down
the great powers of the world, (Alternative to War). The Iraqi citizens are being oppressed by Hussein,

A Note On Macro, Micro Evolution There Is Important For...
First off, when talk about macro, micro evolution there is much falsehood about these two words, but,
understanding them is maybe the vital essential for comprehension the creation or development issue.
Macroevolution alludes to major developmental changes after some time, the inception of new sorts of
creatures from beforehand existing, yet distinctive, tribal sorts. On the other hand, Microevolution
alludes to assortments inside of a given sort. Change happens inside of a gathering, however the
relative is unmistakably of the same sort as the precursor.
According to Berkeley.edu, Macroevolution generally refers to evolution above the species level. So
instead of focusing on an individual beetle species, a macroevolutionary lens might require that we
zoom out on the tree of life, to assess the diversity of the entire beetle clade and its position on the
tree. Macroevolution includes the most amazing patterns and changes in development, for example,
the beginning of warm blooded animals and the radiation of blooming plants. Macro evolutionary
examples are by and large what we see when we take a gander at the substantial scale history of life. It
is not as a matter of course simple to see macro evolutionary history; there are no firsthand records to
be perused. Rather, we reproduce the historical backdrop of life utilizing all accessible confirmation:
geography, fossils, and living beings.

The name Korea is from Goryeo, a dynasty which ruled in the middle Ages. Its neighbours are China
to the west, Japan to the east, and North Korea to the north. South Korea lies in the North Temperate
Zone with a mostly mountainous terrain. It covers a total area of 99,392 square kilometres and has a
population of 50 million. The capital and largest city is Seoul, with a population of 9.8 million.
Archaeology indicates that the Korean Peninsula was occupied by the Lower Palaeolithic period.
Korean history begins with the founding of Gojoseon in 2333 BC by the legendary Dan gun.
Following the incorpotion of the Three Kingdoms of Korea under Silla 668 AD, Korea was ruled by
the Goryeo Dynasty (918 1392) and Joseon Dynasty (1392 1910). It was annexed by the Empire of
Japan in 1910. At the end of World War II, Korea was divided into Soviet and U.S. zones of
occupation. An election was held the U.S. zone in 1948 which led to the creation of the Republic of
Korea. Although the United Nations passed a resolution declaring the Republic to be the only lawful
government in Korea, the Soviets set up a rival government in the North.
The Korean War began in 1950 when forces from the North invaded the South. The war lasted three
years and involved the U.S., China, the Soviet Union, and many other nations. The border between the
two nations remains the most heavily fortified in the world. In the decades that followed, the South

My Experience At New York City
For Christmas and my sixteenth birthday present my parents planned a trip for me to go to New York
City with my dad. Two days after Christmas me and my dad hopped on the plane and headed for New
Jersey and New York City. I was very excited because I had been to New Jersey but I never visited
New York City before. I also remember being excited because of that fact that I would actually get to
see snow in the winter since it rarely ever snowed in Houston during the winter. Then that next year
during my junior year in High School, I had the opportunity to go on a trip to Los Angeles with my
drill team. I was very excited to get to go to both of these huge awesome cities in that two year period.
Both of these cities were unique in their own way. So what makes a city similar to another city and
what makes a city different to another city? The people, the weather, the vibe, the monuments and
popular attractions are all some of the components of what makes a city unlike any other city. My two
favorite cities besides Houston are New York and Los Angeles. I have visited both and like them both
equally for different reasons. While New York and Los Angeles definitely have their similarities, they
also have many differences that set them apart from each other. In New York they experience all four
seasons. The leaves change colors in the fall, it snows in the winter, the grass gets greener because it
rains a lot in the spring, and it can get very sunny and unbearably hot in the summer.

The Role of Women in World War II Essay
How important was the role of women during world war 1
The early rush of volunteers and later the conscription of men led to a shortage of manpower on the
home front. Women, already working in munitions factories were encouraged to take on jobs normally
done by men.
This was the start of major social change. Before the war, women had been content to stay at home to
bring up the family and do domestic work. It was considered unbecoming for a woman to work.
During the war it was considered unpatriotic not to.
Many changes came about as shown by the quote from A. J. P Taylor English History Women became

This turned their faces a bright repulsive yellow. The poor girls were nicknamed canaries . They were
quite proud of this designation as they had earned it in the path of duty. From the war memoirs of
Lloyd George.
The crisis caused by the second U boat campaign lead to the creation of the woman s land army in
1917. Many of those who served were city girls from middle classed families, quite unaccustomed to
hard physical labor. Few failed to impress the initially doubtful farmer with their grit determination
and in the end they saved their country from starvation. Other women joined the forestry corps and
felled trees in shipbuilding and other industries.
At the start of the war almost the entire staff of the Glasgow Corporation tramways left to form a
special battalion of the Highland Light Infantry. Glasgow got its first females clippies in April 1915,
followed more slowly by Manchester and London. Women also became train drivers and greasers of
the railways.
When the war was over most of the women left, or were forced to leave, the paid employment which
they had taken. Despite this the war had brought a significant change to their life s. They began to do
things the normally had never done before such as wear trousers and smoke in public. After the second
world war their daughter proved to be much tougher to remove from their jobs.

Tommy Lee Jones then says INS Division 6 , with which the policeman replies with a quiet
exclamation to his friend There is no Division 6 . This already puts the audience on a higher state of
alert, as a common policeman is undermining, not only a man in a suit who seems to have more
authority, but also Tommy Lee Jones who is one of the main characters of this film. We can identify
the higher authority that Tommy Lee Jones carries, not only by acknowledging the black suit which
complies with the theme of secrecy and the policemen are wearing tan coloured uniforms, but also his
body language and tone of voice. He appears to walk calmly towards the on looking policemen, not
being intimidated by them and not being threatened by the context of the situation. Furthermore, he
talks in a calm, collective tone of voice and of a person of experience. All of this supports the main
theme of authority undermining all that we do. Conformity is also present as a main theme within this

order to remove unnecessary hair. One such type of hair trimmer easily and quickly removes hair from
the nose.
So, before purchasing one for yourself, consider just a few things that are important to keep in mind,
which broadly include type, safety, and proper light. Following these few essential tips will provide
you with the necessary information needed when about to buy a nose hair trimmer:

Obviously nobody wants the hair to stay inside his or her nose, as some hair remains in the nose, even
after it s been trimmed. A nose hair trimmer that comes with an in built vacuum removes the complete
hair at the time that you are trimming.
Blade: The material utilized to make the blades is another aspect to take into account. Generally
speaking, there are three different types of materials that are used to make the blades. These are
stainless steel, platinum, and titanium. Platinum retains the sharpness of the blade much longer time
than stainless steel or titanium, but blades made of titanium have the advantage of keeping them
resistant to water or rust.
Style: The style of the nose trimmer is the final and most important aspect to think about when
purchasing a nose hair trimmer. The standard designs of vacuum hair trimmers are generally vertical
and straight. However, those that come in an angular design are more in use today. These style of
vacuum hair trimmer are much more in use because they provide a better angle and hold which helps
to safely trim and remove the hair.

Anxiety Essay
Anxiety is one of the most common mental illnesses effecting nearly 15 million people. Symptoms of
anxiety can vary from minor to major effects depending on the victim. Teenager Georgiann Steely has
had anxiety since a child (Landro 1). There are many types of anxiety ranging from social to phobic
anxiety. Anxiety affects many people in today s society. To understand and treat it, one must look at its
causes, the effect on the victims, and how it is currently treated.
Throughout the years, the amount of people diagnosed with anxiety has increased. Because of this,
many are trying to figure out its causes. Many people do not fully understand anxiety as a whole,

Throughout the past years medical research has advanced concerning mental illnesses. Treatments for
anxiety has been created based on research found on how to tackle anxiety. A common treatment is
medication. Two common medications for anxiety is serotonin reuptake inhibitor, and serotonin
norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Although other drugs are used, these are the most common (
Treatment ). This suggests that since medications are the most common, more severe symptoms may
need extra treatment. Anxiety has multiple treatments including psychotherapy. Psychotherapy has
multiple branches, one being cognitive behavioral therapy, which focuses on management of
symptoms and skills to help relaxation. Another would be cognitive restructuring, which enforces
positive thinking, along with coping plans for certain situations (Landro 2). This passage suggests that
psychotherapy takes a personalized approach for treating anxiety. Although the treatments main focus
is to better the patient, it leaves a lot for the victim s family and future. Treatments make take a while
to help, which leaves victims feeling worse ( Depression 2). This can lead one to conclude that
because episodes are likely to occur, families must be extra careful to watch and support the victim in
the future. Anxiety treatments range from medication to therapy. Victims may experience relapses in
the future and it s important to continuously check up on

Participation Backwards Argumentative Essay
Every year people complain that kids get awards they didn t earn simply for participating in an event.
This is damaging to their future perspective on rewards, which are earned through effort rather than
just showing up and giving minimal effort. Giving kids rewards for the effort they exhibit while
participating in events can be beneficial, but if you constantly reward children they ll receive the
wrong message. That no matter the amount of effort or what the outcome is you ll be given a reward.
As parents you are not doing the best you can for your kids if you allow this to happen. You are not
setting them up for success if you always give them a trophy, especially when they give minimal effort
or lose.
Participation trophies are always under scrutiny by many different groups of people. Even with this
huge stigma following them, the issue isn t usually covered by the media or debated on a large scale.
That silence was broken when the Pittsburg Steelers ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The most common argument for participation trophies is that by giving the kids trophies for showing
up and doing anything, it will keep kids interested in playing the game or coming to practice. Until
everyone got a trophy for just showing up, they truly meant something. The definition of a trophy is as
follows, something gained or given in victory or conquest especially when preserved or mounted as a
memorial (Merriam Webster). When did trophies designed to be given as rewards for great victories
become the means to get kids show up? Instead we should be giving them ice cream, cookies, or pizza
as a reward for showing up. These would get them to participate but are small enough rewards that
won t damage their understanding of the effort really needed to obtain the top

The Women s Rights Movement Essay
Women leaders are evolving in today s society more than ever before. For a while, men had always
been at the forefront when it came to leadership, however women have really stepped up and began
taking on a lot of leadership roles. It s ironic that a woman actually raises a male to be that of a leader;
however women didn t get viewed the same as the male. In 1948 The Women s Rights Movement
brought upon red flags and women began to questions why they didn t get the same educational as
well as professional opportunities as males. Lots of women began to speak out because they were not
going to tolerate the inequality against them any longer. There was definitely a change that took place
which allowed women to have the same opportunities as males. One woman in particular by the name
Meg Whitman really took advantage of this great opportunity. She s the perfect example of what
leadership is all about.
Meg Whitman is the President and chief executive officer of Hewlett Packard Co. She was born on
August 4, 1956 in Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, New York. Whitman definitely has her hands in a
lot of different areas surrounding business. Her father worked on Wall Street while her mom enjoyed
the amenities of being a stay at home mother. Growing up, Whitman was full of confidence and she
bestowed a great sense of intelligence. In 1974 she graduated from high school in just three years. She

Michael Moore s Bowling For Columbine Essay
When Michael Moore first created the documentary, Bowling for Columbine , in 2002 he not only
wanted to raise awareness around the tragedy that was the Columbine Massacre, but wanted to look
beyond that and dig deep into finding out the political events that led up to this tragic event. Michael
Moore wanted to seek to investigate and confront leading, powerful politicians for allowing this
violent culture to worsen for their own benefit through creating this documentary. It is clear that
Moore loves his country but hates its current politics which is why he decided to make Bowling for
Columbine as it both highlights the issues surrounding Americas current Gun laws whilst investigating
the truth behind the Columbine Massacre and the political events leading up to this tragedy. This
reading will explore Michael Moores political stance whilst investigating the power of the NRA
(national rifle association) and the manipulation of the media whilst finding out the political events
that led to the Columbine Massacre and changing the way Americans think about their 2nd
amendment ( right to bare arms ). It will also talk about Americas violent history.
Michael Moore was born in Flint, Michigan on April 23, 1954 where he then studied Journalism at the

The officials involved in the Omaha chase had to be able to transmit the information using the radio

information he or she would need to understand the fullness of the situation by giving feedback. This
feedback allows the sender transmit further information so that those on the other end of the radio will

Blessed Are The Merciful, For They Shall Receive Mercy
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Introduction: You may be familiar with the
story of Corrie Ten Boom who was sent to a concentration camp along with her father and sister for
hiding Jews. Her father and sister died in the camps, but Corrie Ten Boom was released due to a
clerical error. After the war she spent time going to churches to speak about God s forgiveness. It is
amazing because she witnessed women in the concentration camps brutally tortured and killed. But
she believed that her God was a God of mercy, grace, and forgiveness. After the war, she returned to
Germany to speak and write about the mercy, grace, and forgiveness of God. She taught that lack of
mercy and forgiveness was a sin against God because we have no reason not to forgive anyone since
Christ is the one who has forgiven us of our sin. How could we hold it back from anyone else? After
the war she returned to Germany and this is what she wrote in her book, The Hiding Place, speaking
about one of the most difficult times she was faced with granting forgiveness. She was asked to go and
speak to a church on forgiveness. She spent her time talking about how God forgives and that was a
message the Germans needed to hear as the war had just ended. She said when God forgives us it is as
if our sins were cast into the deepest part of the ocean, gone forever. After she was done speaking, one

Runs serviced by the Outback express lift are mostly Blacks, with a few Blues this deters the novice

to carve down, without the stress of slower skiers crowding the run. In addition to the fantastic cut

larger ones this creates perfect tree skiing because of the added space between trees it allows the skiers

the best views on the mountain, you can even see Breckenridge from across the valley. My Personal
favorite park about the Outback is the Cat skiing. For a $5 fee, you can get a ride in a snow cat up

Analysis Of Christopher Nolan s A Certain Tendency In...
Auteur Christopher Nolan
In the film industry, directors have control over the entire production process and shape the film to fit
their vision (Creativeskillset.org, 2015). In 1954, François Truffaut took this notion, applying it one
step further, in his essay entitled A Certain Tendency in French Cinema , by saying that directors have
complete creative control over the film s production and that the director is the sole creator. (Nelmes,
2012). Developing this newfound term, auteur theory, coming from the French word author , François
Truffaut came to this conclusion after studying the filmography of famous directors including the
works of Alfred Hitchcock and Jean Renoir (Acu.edu.au, 2011). François Truffaut noticed that many

A major driving force and motivation for the main character is the loss of a wife or loved one, as is the
case with Memento and a broad majority of his films (IMDb.com, 2015). Nolan typically uses a male
lead who is struggling to come to terms with an identity issue whilst showing the story with restricted
narration and multiple interweaving plotlines that all link together at the conclusion of the film. The
first scene and shot in the majority of Nolan s films are out of chronological order, oftentimes not put
into context until the very end of the film (Wickman, 2014). The concept of a nonlinear storyline is
seen in all of his films apart from Following. Utilising constant flashback and flash forward sequences
disorientates the audience, further restricting the narration (Perno, 2014). Memento is no exception,
utilising a nonlinear storyline with two perspectives intertwined, the films narration becomes strongly
restricted (Jeffers Cairns, 2011). By doing so, Nolan is able to disorient the audience and allow them
to feel a sense of Leonard s extreme and constant state of confusion and lack of situational awareness

The concept of having re usable software and hardware components which can be used for product developments have been in vogue for quite some time but in form of frameworks conforming to different standards which need good learning time from their users perspective. À la carte Product Development aims at having a single portal which can span across the lifecycle of product development. • 4. Hobsbawm s The Golden Age Of Capitalism The Golden Years were perhaps best characterized by the overwhelming economic dominance of the USA and of the dollar, which had become dominant when the value of the British pound sterling deteriorated as a result of the second World War. The US dollar was still linked to a specific quantity of gold at the time. A return to laissez faire policies and the unconstructed free market was simply out of the question. Specific political objectives had attained absolute priority, including full employment, absolute containment of communism and modernization or revitalization of any and all economies that were lagging behind. In practice, the Golden Age was an era of free trade, free capitalist movements and stable currencies that had been orchestrated by astute wartime planners. The global economy was becoming increasingly international, but it would not become transnational until later in the 1990s, although new terms ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The work details the historical context of the era, including evolution of macroeconomic structure, the international order, systems of production, and the rules of coordination. A critical element of the postwar macroeconomic structure (the set of mechanisms for managing the overall level of economic performance, including output, performance and growth) was investment demand. • 5. Analysis Of Chasing Cpt And Leading The Sioc Testing At Cha1 Project Summary I worked on many small projects this summer. However they can be summarized as follows: building tools to improve quality and efficiency in the pack department; analyzing our process of chasing CPT s and leading the SIOC testing at CHA1. I was able to build 3 tools, a Pack Head Count Macro (Appendix A B), a Pack Rate Puller Macro (Appendix C D), and a Planning Board for Outbound Macro (Appendix E F) all of these tools were created to be used on Day and Night Shift. I was able to analyze the process of chasing CPT s using two methods, a profitability analysis and analyzing the rates of packers. Finally, I helped start up and run SIOC testing at our site. To show the effectiveness of the three tools I have created, I will explain how the process worked before the tool I created, describe how my tool works, and then detail how it changed the process, for each tool. The analysis of chasing CPT s I will first talk about our current CPT chasing program, then walk through my two analyses. Then I will discuss how I set up SIOC testing, how I ensured it would continue running successfully and the plan I have put in place to ensure it continues effectively once I leave. Then I will talk about the benefits of each project. Finally, I will wrap up with a conclusion and acknowledgements. Pack Head Count Macro Prior to my macro being used, process assistants (PA) would regularly call out for head counts. They will call out to each process guide (PG) for a head ... The pilot was an adult and everyone else on board were children. Children were stranded all over the island. Ralph was the first among the island that the Lord of the Flies mentioned. Piggy, a short, fat, and smart boy was always slowed down by the creepers. Piggy has asthma and he lived with his aunt who told him not to run because of his asthma. Piggy was upset and wanted to go with Jack and Simon to figure out if they were on an island, but Ralph told him he was not good for a job like that, and for him to stay behind to watch the littluns. Piggy also stood up for a littlun when the littlun held out his hands for the conch to have permission to speak. Piggy said, Let him have the conch! Let him have it (Golding p.35). As the littlun spoke, Piggy interpreted that he saw a beastie, a snake like thing in the woods that came at night and blended in with ropes hanging in the trees in the morning. This represented evil. Furthermore, the boys are more interested in teasing Piggy, because of his disabilities than listening to his suggestions. Piggy s glasses become an iconic object for his character. Breastfeeding was completely normal until the 1950s when formula was introduced. People around the world have different opinions on breastfeeding in public (Hannan, Benton Davis, Grummer Strawn, 284). There are many people who prefer a nursing mother to hide in the bathroom or sit in her car while nursing, rather feeding her baby when he or she may get hungry, It is not always convenient for a mother to hide when she has a hungry, fussy baby in her arms. Mothers nursing their children in the United States, Australia, Europe Asia and Africa have varied legal rights while nursing in public. The United States have limited federal laws in the 49 states but each state also has their own laws to govern breastfeeding in public. The religion of Islam that Muslims identify with is fairly new as compared to other religious such as Judaism and Christianity. • 11. The Emergence Of The New Literary Movement It seems every few decades the literary ground shifts. Romanticism and Realism dominated the latter 18th century well into the 19th century. Next came Modernism, arising in the 1900s. Soon after, postmodernism took stage in the 1950s. Now into the 2000s, authors have performed remarkable feats of literary creativity and diversity. Authors are evoking occurrences from the turn of the millennium events and conflicts that are specific to the twenty first century. The new forms, tropes and theoretical strategies in current literature have got literary critics asking: is there such thing as twenty first century fiction a new type of novel that separates itself from the modernist and postmodernist novel in terms of themes, styles, and characteristics? This paper reviews ten scholarly sources that argue for and show examples of the emergence of the new literary movement of this century. This literature review can be used by scholars interested in the next step in literature theory and how it is being defined and debated among philosophers and critics. In order to argue the birth of a new literary movement, the death of the previous must first be established. In this case, Postmodernism is dead. At some point it stopped working, stopped being relevant. The irony that saturated everything, the questioning of beliefs and narratives, the dissatisfaction with modernity, the cynicism, all became exhausted. The Importance of the First World War in Achieving Votes for Women in 1918 The First World War had a serious effect on womens suffrage. Just as Britain was going to war against Germany in August 1914, the WSPU declared peace with the Liberals. So in theory the war of the sexes was swamped by the World War. However, it has been argued that the greatest effect of the war on women s suffrage was that women were given the vote towards the end of it. In the past, historians have generally agreed that women were awarded the vote as a symbol of thanks for their war work. Emelline Pankhurst even threw herself into a vicious campaign in which the defeat of Germany took priority over women s suffrage. In contrast to the WSPU, the NUWSS remained committed to women s suffrage. This meant it left its organisational structure intact, giving it the chance to restart suffrage activities when the time was right. • 34. Blessed Are The Merciful, For They Shall Receive Mercy Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Introduction: You may be familiar with the story of Corrie Ten Boom who was sent to a concentration camp along with her father and sister for hiding Jews. Her father and sister died in the camps, but Corrie Ten Boom was released due to a clerical error. After the war she spent time going to churches to speak about God s forgiveness. It is amazing because she witnessed women in the concentration camps brutally tortured and killed. But she believed that her God was a God of mercy, grace, and forgiveness. After the war, she returned to Germany to speak and write about the mercy, grace, and forgiveness of God. She taught that lack of mercy and forgiveness was a sin against God because we have no reason not to forgive anyone since Christ is the one who has forgiven us of our sin. How could we hold it back from anyone else? After the war she returned to Germany and this is what she wrote in her book, The Hiding Place, speaking about one of the most difficult times she was faced with granting forgiveness. She was asked to go and speak to a church on forgiveness. She spent her time talking about how God forgives and that was a message the Germans needed to hear as the war had just ended. She said when God forgives us it is as if our sins were cast into the deepest part of the ocean, gone forever. After she was done speaking, one of the guards, who she describes as one of the most wicked and cruel guards in the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

For this trip, we choose to stay at the slope side condominium the Lone Eagle Lodge. These Condos are situated on the other side of the ski trail River Run from the Base area and village. This location gives great access to the Summit Express 6 person chair lift and the River Run 8 person Gondola. The only down side about this location is the distance from the village, the only way to access it is to walk the quarter mile across the snow covered River Run bridge. In the Spring the snow on this bridge is very soft and wet so be sure to wear your snow boots if you plan to check out the village after a day on the slopes. As for the Condominium itself, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Although it is a bit of a trip to get there the Outback has some of the best skiing on the mountain. The Runs serviced by the Outback express lift are mostly Blacks, with a few Blues this deters the novice skiers from making the trek and gives the more advanced skiers shorter lift lines, and steep open runs to carve down, without the stress of slower skiers crowding the run. In addition to the fantastic cut runs, the Outback offers the best tree skiing on the mountain. The resort does a great job of maintaining the growth in this part of the mountain by cutting the smaller trees and trimming the larger ones this creates perfect tree skiing because of the added space between trees it allows the skiers to carry a bit more speed with confidence and cruise through the trees with ease. This peak also offers the best views on the mountain, you can even see Breckenridge from across the valley. My Personal favorite park about the Outback is the Cat skiing. For a $5 fee, you can get a ride in a snow cat up above the lift serviced runs to the South Bowl. This is huge bowl is above the tree line gives you a unique experience to ski great snow so high up. There is even a possibility to find some untouched powder stash from the past snowstorms. We spent all day in the Outback and barely explored half of it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 37. Analysis Of Christopher Nolan s A Certain Tendency In... Auteur Christopher Nolan In the film industry, directors have control over the entire production process and shape the film to fit their vision (Creativeskillset.org, 2015). In 1954, François Truffaut took this notion, applying it one step further, in his essay entitled A Certain Tendency in French Cinema , by saying that directors have complete creative control over the film s production and that the director is the sole creator. (Nelmes, 2012). Developing this newfound term, auteur theory, coming from the French word author , François Truffaut came to this conclusion after studying the filmography of famous directors including the works of Alfred Hitchcock and Jean Renoir (Acu.edu.au, 2011). A major driving force and motivation for the main character is the loss of a wife or loved one, as is the case with Memento and a broad majority of his films (IMDb.com, 2015). Nolan typically uses a male lead who is struggling to come to terms with an identity issue whilst showing the story with restricted narration and multiple interweaving plotlines that all link together at the conclusion of the film. The first scene and shot in the majority of Nolan s films are out of chronological order, oftentimes not put into context until the very end of the film (Wickman, 2014). The concept of a nonlinear storyline is seen in all of his films apart from Following. Utilising constant flashback and flash forward sequences disorientates the audience, further restricting the narration (Perno, 2014). Memento is no exception, utilising a nonlinear storyline with two perspectives intertwined, the films narration becomes strongly restricted (Jeffers Cairns, 2011). By doing so, Nolan is able to disorient the audience and allow them to feel a sense of Leonard s extreme and constant state of confusion and lack of situational awareness (Perno, ... Analysis Of Theresa Hak Kyung Cha Before her untimely death at the age of 31, Theresa Hak Kyung Cha was a promising innovator of experimental film, slide projections, sculpture, audio recordings, performance art, and poetry. Her work challenges assumptions about history, narrative, language, and in particular conceptions of immigrants; through powerful and often dislocating ideological and grammatical in derogations of cultural, geographic, and social positions, she recuperates an alternative sense of self and identity in a postcolonial, feminist, racially marked world. Her experiments with the sense of displacement and fragmentation mark an important stage in postmodernist, multicultural, and feminist writing.
