Revised Quality Management System (QMS) standard for the
automotive Industry, developed by International Automotive Task
Force (IATF)
This revised standard cancels & replaces ISO/TS 16949 - 2009
Aligned with ISO 9001 – 2015 & Not a standalone QMS - must be
used in conjunction with ISO 9001 - 2015
3. Changes from ISO/TS 16949 to IATF 16949

(OEM) customer-specific requirements (CSRs) -
meant to help the process by unifying and
reducing CSR
