1. TweetDeck (or Twhirl)

These are free programs that you
download and install on your
computer to monitor Twitter more
easily and effectively than you
could from the web. I use
TweetDeck. It allows me to search
Twitter for specific keywords and
get updates in real time. It’s also a
great way to monitor specific
topics or even your own name or
brand. However, if you don’t want
to be constantly interrupted turn
off the alerts!

2. Twitter Mobile App
                                          Above is a screenshot of my desktop application: Seesmic. This is what I use to tweet
