How to create a Facebook Group
1. Visit https://www.facebook.com/groups/
and click Create Group.
2. A popup appears, where you’ll add
your group name, add members, and
choose privacy settings for your group.
3. Click Create and you’re done!

How to add members to your group
1. Add friends. For all Group types you can
add friends on Facebook.
2. Add people by email. You can also add
people by email.
3. Share the link to your Group. If your
group is public or closed, anyone who
clicks the link can send a request to join.

Rules of engagement for your Facebook Group
1. Have a clear purpose
2. Be clear about who should be a member
3. Have rules for what’s ok, and what’s not ok
4. Always put the members first
5. Be helpful and responsive
6. Connect members who can help each other
7. Add useful docs
8. Post content that serves the group
9. Create smaller groups for volunteers, board
members, advocates, and staff.
