…ask, ask, ask
• meet with the district contact about their
needs
• meet with parents – take the pulse of your
community (utilize your liaisons!)
• meet with the teachers – what are their
needs
• meet with your leadership team - pick a
focus
16. The fourth step…
….communication, communication, communication
• Make sure to represent yourself professionally
• Tag along on a district event
• Determine the best method via your school district
•Teacher emails, email blasts from schools, etc.
• Email vs. a paper trail
• Collect email addresses directly and maintain a data base!
