Successful Real Estate
Team
It’s no secret a firm foundation is
the key to a successful real estate
team. However, there are a few
ideas and tips that are applicable
and be can be extremely useful
when attempting to build your own
successful team.
Many individuals in real estate are
against the building teams due to
the fact that they view being a real
estate agent or broker are as a job
that exudes independence.
However, there are also many who
see a major benefit in having a team
of people around to pitch in.
With that being said there is a lot of
pressure that goes along with trying
to form a successful team. If you go
into to doing so with the mindset
that planning needs to be well
thought out and embrace realistic
expectations, you might be able to
grow your business while also
building and increasing
profitability.
Here are a few tips to building a
successful real estate team:
Systems
Before you even begin the hiring
process it is essential that you
ensure you have your process in
order. This means making sure you
have the ability to prequalify,
generate business, convert, and
close business.
Having a system in place will make it
easier to train new team members
and make it easier for you delegate
tasks in the future. Take a look at
the list below. It details all the
things you should do before you
begin building your team.
Lead generation system
Prequalification system
Listing system
Client care system
Closing system
Staff agreements/contracts
Staff recruiting, hiring, and
training system
Sub-systems
After you have put your main
systems in place, you can begin to
focus on your sub-systems.
These sub-systems include signs,
voice mail, website, and business
cards. All these previously
mentioned items can assist your
company with providing a great
first impression and could
potentially lead to generating more
business and revenue.
Never stop
learning
The industry of real estate is not
new. This is a good thing! This
means there is a wealth of
knowledge out there waiting for you
to find it. So, get out there and
network or read books; do whatever
you can to continue to develop your
knowledge of your chosen field.
