3. INTRODUCTION
• Aesthetics is define as a set of principles of
appreciation of beauty. And it deals with the
appearance.
• Ergonomics considered as the scientific study
of man-machine-working environment.
4. IMPORTANCE OF AESTHETICS IN
DESIGN
The parameter that are normally considered:
• Appearance.
• Appearance reflects performance.
• Appearance reflects quality.
• Extra appearance extra cost.
• Comfort to user.
• Suitable to environment.
5. AESTHETIC CONSIDERATIONS IN
JUICER DESIGN
• First appearance should be pleasing to the
customer’s eye.
• symmetry should be maintained as much as
possible.
• Sharp edges should be avoided or chamfered.
• High quality surface finish always attracts.
• Silent operation is very important to any
customer.

uncomplicated and smooth in operation.
• Colour and contrast should be eye pleasing.
• wires, motor and other unattractive components
should be well covered.
7. MAJOR AREAS LOOKED INTO BY
ERGONOMICS ARE
• Human anatomy, posture and body mechanics.
• Anthropometry.
• Design of human-machine interaction.
• Human compatibilities, skills, workload, fatigue.
• Environmental conditions on man and machine
system.
8. MAN- MACHINE CLOSED LOOP
SYSTEM.
• The aim of ergonomics is to reduce the operation difficulties present
in man-machine system and thereby reduce resulting physical and
mental stresses.

9. ERGONOMIC CONSIDERATIONS IN
JUICER DESIGN
• During or after session on the juicer the user must
