12. [email_address] www.gabriellla.it (3 L) This is an autobiographic song. It was the beginning of 1900 and Edoardo Nicolardi, who was just over twenty, fell in love with the very beautiful Annarosa, daughter of a rich horse-dealer. But he was a poor poet without a penny and the girl was married to an old and rich customer of her father’s. The young poet’s despair, though, didn’t last long; Annarosa in fact became soon a rich widow. Their love dream became true and we are left wirh one of the most beautiful songs of all times!
