D1 - I need to show a wider range of
tones in my drawings.

to my work to reach a higher level.

proportion of what I am drawing so that
all shapes are accurate.

smoother so that my tones are blended
together.

when I shade.

You have the rest of the lesson to do your last shell
drawing. Look at all the advice you have been given
over the lesson and use it well. Consider using colour.
Success Criteria:
5B/5A – You have included a high amount of detail in your drawing, accurate
proportion and shape and a full range of tones.
4A / 5C – You have included some detail in your drawings and your shape is mostly
accurate. You have used at least 3 different tones.
4B –You have used a small amount of detail , 2 different tones and the shape is quite
accurate.
4C – You have outlined all key parts, you have 2 different tones, however, your lines
are too heavy. Your shape is recognisable, but messy.
3A – You have an outline which is very heavy but has some shape, you have no tonal
shading and your details are not correct.

  • 3. Lesson Objective here Write the key words from your last tonal drawing target in the top of the first box. Write it quite small so it fits! Drawing Target here DRAWING TARGETS D1 - I need to show a wider range of tones in my drawings. D2 - I need to add finer texture / detail to my work to reach a higher level. D3 - I need to look carefully at the proportion of what I am drawing so that all shapes are accurate. D4 - I need to make my shading smoother so that my tones are blended together.   • 5. 3 The Rules of Critique: 1. Be Kind 2. Be Specific 3. Give a Top Tip • Get up and walk around the room. Give a high five to a friend. Swap books. • Talk to them about their work – follow the rules of critique. • Write a MAXIMUM of three words at the top of their next box to help them with their next drawing.   • 10. 3 You have the rest of the lesson to do your last shell drawing. Look at all the advice you have been given over the lesson and use it well. Consider using colour. Success Criteria: 5B/5A – You have included a high amount of detail in your drawing, accurate proportion and shape and a full range of tones. 4A / 5C – You have included some detail in your drawings and your shape is mostly accurate. You have used at least 3 different tones. 4B –You have used a small amount of detail , 2 different tones and the shape is quite accurate. 4C – You have outlined all key parts, you have 2 different tones, however, your lines are too heavy. Your shape is recognisable, but messy. 3A – You have an outline which is very heavy but has some shape, you have no tonal shading and your details are not correct. 4A4C
