Recycle PET to BCF lines for carpets

Recycled polyester flakes offer economic and ecological advantages. It is widely used in the textile industry for spinning of staple fibres, which can be used as spun yarns, textile fillings or nonwoven materials. New frontiers are also being explored to use the BCF yarn from the recycled PET, and one of them is carpets. Trützschler and EREMA have developed a one-step system for pre-processing and spinning polyester flakes into BCF yarn for carpet applications.
