Incandescent
    bulb cfl bulb
 incandescent lamp produces light by heating a metal filament
wire to a high temperature until it glows. The hot filament is
protected from oxidation in the air with a glass enclosure that
is filled with inert gas or evacuated. In a halogen lamp,
filament evaporation is prevented by a chemical process that
redeposits metal vapor onto the filament, extending its life.
The light bulb is supplied with electrical current by feed-
through terminals or wires embedded in the glass. Most
bulbs are used in a socket which provides mechanical support
    and electrical connections.
 (CFL), also called compact fluorescent light, energy-saving
    light, and compact fluorescent tube,
 Compared to general-service incandescent lamps giving the
same amount of visible light, CFLs use one-fifth to one-third
the electric power, and last eight to fifteen times longer. A
CFL has a higher purchase price than an incandescent lamp,
but can save over five times its purchase price in electricity
    costs over the lamp's lifetime.[
 CFLs are simply smaller versions of full-sized fluorescent
lighting. The only difference other than size is that the quality
of light is much better than the other lights.

 CFLs are up to four times more efficient than incandescent
    bulbs
 You can replace a 100 watt incandescent bulb with a 22 watt
    CFL
 CFLs use 50 - 80% less energy
 Cfl are less expensive than incandescent lights.
 CFLs use 1/3 the electricity and last up to 10 times as long as
    incandescent bulbs
 Cfl bulbs helps to save the environment by saving the energy.
 Less electricity bill
 Just one bulb can reduce a half-ton of CO2 out of the
    atmosphere over the life
 Water and fire proof.

 Let’s Take an simple example:
 let us assume electricity is available for
Rs.4.00 per unit , If a100 watt bulb is used
for 8 hrs a day then.
 If we replace a 100 watt bulb with 22 waltt
    CFL ,
 The annual saving would be…
 Power saved : 100W– W = 78W

 Earning the ENERGY STAR
    means products meet strict
    energy efficiency guidelines
    set by the US Environmental
    Protection Agency. Lighting
    products that have earned
    the ENERGY STAR deliver
    exceptional features, while
    using less energy. Saving
    energy helps you save
    money on utility bills and
    protect the environment by
    reducing greenhouse gas
    emissions in the fight
    against climate change.
once you change
 over to CFLs than
 You will see
a noticeable change
