Add Products with Schedules and Quotes to Opportunities in Lightning Experience • Add products with revenue or quantity schedules to opportunities anywhere, any time. • Sales reps can create and edit quotes and quote line items, add quotes to opportunities, and save quotes as PDFs. Business visualisation with Account Logos (Beta) • Logos can be added to the account which would be seen on the Account records. • Logos show up automatically, when available, on US-based accounts. If one uses Social Accounts, logos that reps added manually from social networks may be replaced with a fresher, more up-to-date logo. Debugging Lightning Components with the Salesforce Lightning Inspector The Salesforce Lightning Inspector is a Google Chrome DevTools extension that helps debug Lightning components and profile component performance. Introducing Base Lightning Components Base Lightning components are the building blocks that make up the modern Lightning Experience, Salesforce1, and Lightning Communities user interfaces Creating a Consistent Look with the Lightning Design System • The Lightning Design System is now automatically added to the Lightning Out and Lightning Components for Visualforce apps. • Provides look and feel consistent with the lightning experience Enabling Lightning Components for the Custom Actions force:lightningQuickAction or force:lightningQuickActionWitho utHeader interface can be added to a Lightning component to enable it to be used as a custom action in Lightning Experience or Salesforce1. Increased Cross Namespace limits • Previously, the limit during a single transaction was 10. • There’s now no limit on the number of certified namespaces that can be invoked in a single transaction. Suppressing Null Values When Serializing Apex Objects • The current implementation of the Apex serialize method returns null values when serializing Apex objects into JSON. • suppressApexObjectNulls can be set to true to suppress them when serializing Apex objects into JSON. Adding Visualforce Pages to the Lightning Experience Navigation Menu • Lightning Experience navigation menu can be customized by adding Visualforce tabs. • This capability already exists in Salesforce Classic and the Salesforce1 mobile app. Now you can do it in Lightning Experience. KEY FEATURES IN DEVELOPMENT Testing WSDL-Based Asynchronous Callouts • Previously, one could test synchronous WSDL-based callouts, or could test asynchronous non-WSDL- based callouts. • Testing asynchronous callouts made from an imported WSDL caused the tests to fail with an internal Salesforce error. This bug has been fixed Processes Can Execute Actions on More Than One Criteria • After a process executes a particular action, we can choose where it should choose or evaluate another action. • Multiple action groups can be executed in a single process and it is easy to manage all the processes for a single object. Save Time by Cloning Sandboxes • One can create a sandbox by cloning an existing sandbox rather than using one’s production org as the source. • Time can be saved by populating any type of sandbox with a previously chosen set of data and metadata.

With new marketing cloud integration into service cloud one has an opportunity to make every service interaction into a marketing interaction.
