First Quarter and Halftime saw the greatest Wi-Fi use. Super Bowl fans were watching the conclusion of an exciting game. 10% of Wi-Fi bandwidth during the game was consumed providing software updates to this single operating system. Social networks were the most engaged set of applications during the Super Bowl. 15,000 Wi-Fi-connected fans were using Social Networking throughout the game. 55% of Wi-Fi connected fans during the game were sharing on Facebook, 18% on Twitter, 15% on Instagram. Social networking consumed 10% of all Wi-Fi bandwidth during the game at Super Bowl. Heaviest fan engagement on Social Networking was during the Halftime Show. The optimized fan experience requires a high-performance network. Fans using social networking had a good experience. Over 35% of the Wi-Fi bandwidth during the game was comprised of Cloud Storage.
