We now have 20 offices around the globe, so we're incredibly local. we organize meet ups all over the world to enable our community to get together and share their thoughts, ideas and even problems. We need to know what our users want. It is important to give your community the platform to meet each other.

He told them: I’d rather make sure that 100 people love you than having a mio people kind of like you. Get to know your community! The guys then decided to meet some members of the community in NYC and that’s when it started to make a difference. In the beginning, when the Airbnb community was still tiny, our founders Brian and Joe would go to every single listing and take photos of the rooms themselves and to check the quality of the listings. We now have more advanced tools for this ;)
