Briefly: The quake hit 325 kilometers southwest of Santiago, at 3:34 a.m. on February 27th. The magnitude at the epicenter was 8.8 and it lasted 90 seconds. I live in Valparaíso (on the coast), that is 100 kilometers west from Santiago. Here, in Valpo, we had a 7.2. We have had, at least 60 aftershocks, some of them of a magnitude ranging from 4 to 5. Unfortunately the toll of death people has grown up to 748 Chileans due to the tsunami that hit part of our coast. Thank God my close family, friends and myself are safe and healthy. In my personal case, whatever is lost it is only material stuff. Your concern is a great booster to restart. Many blessings to you all, Pauli
