2. I decided to change the picture I used for the movie poster and use a
different one for the magazine cover. I used the same effect with the
layers and putting the silhouette in the distance. Plus using the woods as
a background rather than a black background.
3. I used Serif DrawPlus X5 to add in text as there are a lot more choices to choose from then on Serif
PhotoPlus X5.
4. On every magazine I have seen there is always more picture
rather than the main magazine picture on it.
So I decided to add pictures that I have taken and use
them at the bottom. My magazine cover is mainly based
around the movie mystery and what's it about.
5. I decided to outline the title to make it stand out and it then didn’t
blend into the background of the picture anymore which is good.
I made the movie mystery the main topic of my magazine to make it
seem important and basically make it seem more important than the
actual magazine its self.
On magazines they is usually always a prize or competition of some
kind to draw in the reader to buying it for the competition and
then if they buy the magazine they are then most likely to then
read it also. I have noticed that the brighter colours on the
magazine selves stand out more than the duller colours.
I made my magazine cost £1.50 because it didn’t want it to be too
expensive that people would think it wasn’t worth buying and also
hopefully this price is reasonable for younger people as my target
audience is 12 and above as I want my movie to be rated 12A.
I made the magazine dated October 2013 because this magazine
interviews and photographs is for the release of the movie.
