The shrine of Hazrat is located in Nagpur. There are lakhs of people
who visit Nagpur every week to seek the blessings from Hazrat.

3. Baba was 65 years old in 1925. Baba’s health had significantly
declined by then. Baba was treated by Maharaja Raghoji Rao, but it
was not successful.
Baba left this world on 17 August 1925. However, He will remain in all
hearts of His devotees.
His glory spread like wildfire and thousands upon thousands of
Shakardars flocked to the palace to shower their glory on the court.
Taj, which means crown of divinity, was used to refer to a stream of
followers from all walks and all theological religions.
He described Meherbaba as the perfect master. A Sadguru is the
highest and one can only realize oneself through the grace of a
Sadguru.
Funds of Rs 50 crore have been approved to support the development
of Tajuddin Baba Dargah in Nagpur. This information was provided by
Sudhir Mungantiwar, State Finance Minister. Mungantiwar stated that
the amount was approved to finish work as per the approved structure
for the construction of the dargah.
A review meeting was held on Thursday at Sahyadri, the state
guesthouse. Mungantiwar stated that a draft of Rs.132.49 crore was
already approved for the beautification and development of the
dargah. Funds of Rs.82.39 million have been distributed from this
amount. This money has been used for development projects. A fund
of Rs 17.71 million has been set up. For the remaining results under
the draft, Rs 50 crore was required. The meeting approved it. It
includes the development of roads within the dargah and rehabilitation

4. of shops within the dargah premises of the shopping complex. There
will also be provision of toilets and waste management.
A series of programs were held in honour of the
one-hundred-and-fifty-seventh anniversary of Saint Tajuddinbaba’s
birth. This included a large gathering at Taj Bagh.
The procession left the large Taj Bagh area at Umerad Marg this
morning. The Trust Administrator, Jarbir Taji, Talib Taji of Tajabad
Darbar and Executive Members Ashwin Betharia Ashwin Betharia
Rahul Mangle, Ghulam Mushafa, Rajendra Bharti and Shahzada Khan
were all present.
The procession included horses, bands, and drums. Baba Taj’s
Qawwali was also started by DJ. Sakkardara Check, Sirsapeth, Friday,
Jumma Darwaza, Bhaldarpura, Ganjakhet-Itwari, Shaheed Check,
Chitaroli, Lakdi Pool, Chitnavispura, Old Friday. The trust placed a
sheet over Baba’s grave. Qawwali took place at night. Nagpur was
visited by thousands of devotees from Madhya Pradesh and Uttar
Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh as well as Telangana, Karnataka and
Chhattisgarh.
The Baba was delighted to discover a 3-foot tall, three-layered cake on
the eve his follower’s birthday celebration. He was overwhelmed by
emotions and began to cry. Then he cut a large slice of the cake and
distributed it among hundreds of devotees who had come to offer
prayers and pay tribute. There are so many sweet stories, and there
will never be enough. But they keep coming, each time a new group
arrives. I heard one mention how they found their glasses after a long
search.
