2. New Media
New media refers to any media which is on
demand and can be accessed anytime,
anywhere on any digital device.
New media covers a wide range of media
products and can be applied to most of
technology. New media includes things like the
internet, video games and CD’s.

3. Wix is an online website which allows you to
make and create a free website, the website is
completely changeable and controlled by the
website maker.
I used wix to create a homepage for my band. It
is my Wix which has all my projects and
coursework on it. The website is a little awkward
to work with, however, the editing and changing
of it was easier towards the end, I found it easy
to navigate pages and organise my stuff.

4. iMovie
iMovie is an editing programme installed on
Mac computers. This program, similar to
Windows movie maker, allows you to edit video
and sound. This means you can move around
clips and control your content. It also allows you
to delete parts of the clips. The most useful part
of it was the ability to edit sound. This obviously
became handy in my music video production.
I used this technology to create my music video.

5. Photoshop
Photoshop is an image editing software. It
allows users to edit images in inventive ways.
Apply filters, merge and warp images, as well as
many other things.
I used Photoshop to create pretty much all of
my auxiliary tasks. It was used to edit and create
my digipaks most of all. It took a lot of practice
but it worked out in the end. I would suggest
Photoshop is a bit complicated and hard to
adapt to.

6. Prezi
Prezi is an online presentation maker. Through it
I have created several presentations which I
have used in my coursework. This includes
evaluation 2.
This website is difficult to use, however I am
proud of the end results and believe I used the
website effectively and efficiently.

7. YouTube
A video viewing website. All of the videos on my
website have been done through YouTube. They
were uploaded through YouTube then onto the
website. YouTube is probably one of the largest
forms of new media. It has well over a billion
users and has an uncountable number of videos
on it.

8. Slide share
This is the website I have used to upload this
video. It allows users to upload and convert
Microsoft PowerPoint files online. This has been
used un several places on my blog. This is handy
because although you get less control than you
would have using prezi, it allows you to make
videos more interesting.
