FEATURES OF CRP APPROACH
 SHG Formation by Community Resource Persons (CRPs)
 CRPs are women SHG members,

 May or may not be literate.
 No involvement of Departmental Staff in formation of SHGs
 Through this approach, Poor come out of poverty in 6-8 years.

INTERMEDIARY OUTCOMES
 94% of the members availed loan from SHGs
 70% of loan utilized for their livelihood enhancement
 Average amount of loan availed per member is Rs 24838
 Increase in income per SHG member is Rs 1380 per month
 45% of the SHG members purchased assets from the loan
taken from SHGs
 66% of the SHG members income enhanced .

Rajasthan SHG Framework

  • 1. SELF HELP GROUP An Integrated Framework for SHGs

  • 9. COMMUNITY RESOURCE PERSON (CRP) APPROACH “Programme for the Poor, by the Poor”
  • 10. FEATURES OF CRP APPROACH  SHG Formation by Community Resource Persons (CRPs)  CRPs are women SHG members,  who have come out of poverty  Should have benefitted socially and economically, through SHG.  May or may not be literate.  No involvement of Departmental Staff in formation of SHGs  Through this approach, Poor come out of poverty in 6-8 years.

INTERMEDIARY OUTCOMES  94% of the members availed loan from SHGs  70% of loan utilized for their livelihood enhancement  Average amount of loan availed per member is Rs 24838  Increase in income per SHG member is Rs 1380 per month  45% of the SHG members purchased assets from the loan taken from SHGs  66% of the SHG members income enhanced . MARKETING PLATFORM  GoI initiated Mahila e-Haat  GoR- • A Specific Society named Amrita was formed in 2008 to provide Market Linkages to SHGs • It Organises 2 Fairs named National Amrita Haat Every Year at Jaipur • Fairs at Division Level From 2015-16  Suggestion- • Re-Organising and Strengthening of Society • A Revolving Fund could be given • May be Authorized to recommend for Start Up Benefits • May Set Up Quality Check Cell
  • 21. 1. Organizing Amrita Haat (fairs) for SHGs at Divisional and District level. 2. Ensuring participation of SHGs in the fairs of various departments 3.Getting permanent counters for SHGs in the market places. 1. Establishing Permanent Marketing Center at Division Level for SHG products through Amrita Society 2. Online marketing of SHG products through Amrita Society. PLAN OF ESTABLISHING MAHILA SAMRIDHI BAZAR Short Term Medium Term Envisaged by WCD in 2 Stages.
