This document contains a student's review and reflection of their production experience and projects from Year 1 of a Creative Media course. The student discusses enjoying the filming and editing aspects the most. Time management was an area of improvement. Their music video was considered their best project due to personal interest and using skills learned in filming and editing. The animation project was least enjoyed due to it being new and not understanding how to create a game from their idea. The student's goal is to pursue filming and editing skills and obtain an apprenticeship in digital marketing.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.

Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.

Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.

Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.

Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

3. Which specific production tasks have you
enjoyed most this year?
• I have mainly enjoyed the filming part of this year as its something that I have
wanted to do for a while now and I have now been given the opportunity to
experiment with filming and its something that I've enjoyed.
• I have also really enjoyed the editing side of things this year as its something
that I have had no real experience in so therefore I enjoy learning new things and
different ways to use special effects and techniques in premiere pro.
4. What challenges have you faced this
year in your practical work?
• What I have found the most challenging this year has been the research side of
things, this is simply because I feel as if I am repeating myself a lot and don’t
want to do that as I am wanting to think of many different aspects to music
videos that I have researched into.
• Another task that I have found challenging is the animation task, this is
something that I was not overly confident going into as I have never animated
anything before and I didn’t have a clear view of where I wanted my project to
lead into
5. Which process do you think you have
made the most development in?
• I felt as if my time management as been one of the main things that have improved
this year for me. With the first music video task I noticed that I left it all
too last minute when filming and that’s something that I later realised was a
mistake because I found that some of the shots where blurry and I couldn’t go
back and change them because it was too late and we where already in the editing
stage.
• With all the projects since then I have allowed myself more time to be stress
free and not have to worry about any hiccups that may come my way.
6. Which technical skill do you think is you
strongest?
• I personally feel as if my main technical skill is filming as this is an area
where I have the most experience as I used to take photography for GCSE in school
and there was some filming elements involved in that, its also something that I
have done in my spare time therefore I have brief general knowledge about
filming.
• One example of this is that when I was filming my music video I had to get
someone else to film for me as I was the performer and I had to guide them as to
how I wanted the camera movement to be and what kind of angles that I was wanting
to include as well.
7. What do you think has been your best
project and why?
• I feel as if my music video was my best project even though it was the first
project that we had to complete. This is because I had the most interest into
making it look really good as I am a fan of watching music videos and its
something that I have always enjoyed. I also had plenty of inspiration during the
research process as I already had many videos that I have watched before that had
inspired me to create something similar in my final project.
• I also feel like my editing was good considering it was my first time using
premiere pro, I used special effects and different transitions to make the music
video seem more professional.
8. Which project did you enjoy least and
why?
• The animation project was something that I enjoyed the least as it was a new
experience to me and I wasn’t overly comfortable with my idea and how I could
make that into game, my adventure idea was something that I had in mind for a
film and not for a game therefore I didn’t know how I was going to create a game
around that.
• I also struggled with editing the animation on photoshop and had to use
pixil.com to create it instead. I feel as if this worked in my favour as I was
happy with the final outcome.
9. How have you managed your time
effectively this year?
• At the start of the year I didn’t manage time well at all as I left very little
tie to film my music video, however I learnt from this mistake and with every
project that comes my way I plan what I will do watch day and make sure that I
complete on that day which then allows me time to work on future elements in the
PowerPoint, for example I set a goal at the start of the day and make sure that I
complete that goal.
11. What roles/specialism do you see
yourself working in on future projects?
• I feel as if I will specialise in the filming side of things as it is something
that I have enjoyed the most this year and I feel as if I succeed he most from
filming projects. This is because I am completely free to film and go wherever I
want. I also enjoy listening to music a lot which gains my interest into filming,
especially for music videos. Editing is something that I would like to do in the
future so that is something that I am wanting to pursue in this course and
hopefully develop my skills further.
12. What do you see yourself doing at the
end of the course next year?
• I see myself getting into an apprenticeship in digital marketing as I have a
background of business knowledge which I can then combine with my knowledge in
creative media. I will look into many different apprenticeships around me, for
example there is a company really close to my house which are open to accept new
people that are ready to work alongside people who are educated in digital
marketing.
13. What research do you need to do in order to
explore your future progression options?
• I need to research into available places that are nearby to me that are looking
for people who are wanting an apprenticeship in digital marketing. I also need to
look at if digital marketing is the right thing for me and weather its something
I can see myself doing in the near future. I will need to look at what happens
after the apprenticeship and where I could go after and if digital marketing pays
well. I will also need to at when I may need to apply for a place in my chosen
apprenticeship because if I leave it too late I may lose out on a spo.
Editor's Notes
Consider 2-3 specific practical parts of your work this year [e.g. filming or editing, etc] and discuss why these have been your favoured parts of the course so far
Think about the work that has been most challenging this year [try and be specific when talking about tasks] and how you responded to it?
A process would be research or planning or time management, it could be a combination. Talk about what it is, how you feel you’ve developed and where this was most evident in the year
This is a technical skill like filming, editing, photo manipulation, designing adverts or using Photoshop – think of an example that shows your strength
This is looking at how you see yourself specialising as we move into the FMP and into Year 2
