The Orange Grove provides a single location where users can browse, search, upload, download, update, rate, and reuse learning content.The FDLC has provided funding for the project leadership and management, system and software support and maintenance, limited metatagging, and content licensing. FDLC member institutions have provided in-kind support for planning, training, content creation, and integration. The legislature provided $250,000 in funding for FY 2007-08 which allowed for the beginning buyout of the repository software product.
Orange Grove Resources (2,168) The vast majority of these resources are open to the public. Subtopics provide ready access to high quality resources from institutions such as:- NC School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM)- PhET Science & Math- Wisc-OnlineOpen Textbooks- An open textbook is one that can be freely viewed, downloaded, and self-printed. They may also have non-restrictive licenses that allow for customization and derivative works. Open Textbooks (5,150) Collection also includes a subtopic with hundreds of recently published science, technology, engineering, and math open books harvested from InTech.Open Courseware-This collection offers open books and textbooks from many sources. An open textbook is one that can be freely viewed, downloaded, and self-printed. They may also have non-restrictive licenses that allow for customization and derivative works. Institution collections are managed by a designated representative. Content may be offered only to specified users. The number of results listed for each institution collection indicates the number of resources you have permission to access.

Students who prefer a hard copy of the OGT+ open textbook can use the site's one-click ordering to order a paperback copy of the book printed, bound, and shipped directly to their home for about half the cost of traditional textbooks. WebAssign Supported Textbooks (6) View open textbooks supported by WebAssign online homework, testing and resources.InTech (4,880) Publisher of open access books in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine (STEM). Please note that the majority of the items in this collection are added in 'chapter' format from the available InTech books.Open Course Library (39) The Open Course Library is a collection of shareable, course materials. This includes open textbooks, syllabi, course activities, readings, and assessments designed by teams of college faculty, instructional designers, librarians, and other experts. OCL materials are created by faculty from Washington State.Saylor Fundation (4) The Saylor Foundation (Saylor.org) provides a collection of free and open college level textbooks and courses. When availabile, links to supporting Saylor Foundation open courses used in conjunction with Saylor open textbooks are also provided.
The repository currently contains textbooks from FlatWorld Knowledge. They will be removing these soon.They will allow repressed use of those currently being used.
