2. The lessons from my Shadow
We cannot recognize our own shadow, we need to commit
ourselves, explore and search for it: we need to reclaim our whole
self.
We need to acknowledge the power of our shadow in order to be
able to deal with it
We don’t need to defeat the shadow, we do not need to win over
it. We need to embrace our shadow because we have only one
Self, which is beyond good and evil.
The healing of the world will emerge not from our changing and
correcting others, but from our willingness to change and correct
ourselves

3. The little I know about my Shadow
When I open the Pandora’s box of my shadow, the opposite of what I
fear I will experience is what actually occur
. shame compassion
. embarrassment courage
. limitation freedom
I step out of the illusion that my darkness will overtake me and instead I
can see the world in a different light.
Embracing the shadow allows us to be whole, to be real, to take back
our power, to unleash our passion, and to realize our dreams.

4. We create our shadow
Everything we experience in life is a manifestation of the Soul and it is
the result of contrast.
You have no experience in the absence of contrast
in order to have manifestation, you need opposing energies.
The shadow is a human creation.
Like everything in life, creating the shadow is a process.

5. When can the shadow emerge?
Whenever any aspect of the self has been split off, labeled as bad, guilty,
shameful, illicit or wrong, then the shadow gains power.
The main ingredients we used in creating the world and our shadow:
- secrecy
- guilt and shame
- blame
- projection
- separation
- struggle
The shadow traps us in two ways:
- it keeps us unconscious
- it erupts with incredible power whenever it wants to
The shadow loses its power when consciousness stops being divided.

6. How can we stop fueling the shadow?
Letting go what we think we know
Being aware that we all use projection and stop projecting
Acknowledging our feelings, detach from negativity and let go
Giving ourselves the permission to be who we are
Nourishing our emotional body, becoming more whole
? …..
Wholeness overcomes the shadow by absorbing it.
Wholeness and healing are intimately connected.

7. The gifts from our shadow
The shadow contains essential characters in the script of our life
It gives us the chance to forgive ourselves for possessing ALL the
human qualities: we can use them any time we need them
Our shadow also includes the positive qualities we have hidden
away together with our ‘darkness’
……

8. Answers we can find together
Think of an aspect of our lives and in this world which does not have
an opposite pole
What is your definition of Shadow?
How can our shadow as a coach emerge? How can we become
aware of that?
How our shadow ‘informs us’?
How can we find the ‘level of the Soul’ in our coaching sessions?
