Glue.

Utility knife.

Use scissors to carefully cut out
the burnt part from the carpet.
Snip away some carpet fibres in
an unseen part of the carpet.
Using glue, stick the fibres on to
the burn area of the carpet to
ensure the burn spot is properly
concealed.
By use of scissors, carefully cut
off and remove the burned
portion of the carpet.
By use of mild detergent, clean
the cut out area by use of sponge
then rinse.
Cut out a replacement carpet,
and this should be of slightly
larger size as compared to the
burnt spot.
Place the portion of replacement
carpet over the hole left after
cutting out the burned area.
By use of utility knife, trim the
edges of the replacement
carpet patch.
Using double side tape or glue,
apply the new carpet patch to its
new location.
