1. 3. Asking Two Facts in One Question Sentence
A sentence, " " , is a " yes / no " question. If the question is correct,

you answer " " as "yes", and if it's not correct you answer " " as "no" as

In the meantime, we can ask two facts in one question sentence. In this case, we list
the asked facts in a single question sentence. However, the " yes / no " answer can
not be applied. You have to answer by choosing the correct fact in the question
sentence. Here is an example question as below;
Question:
sumisu san wa amerika-jin desuka igirisu-jin desuka
= Is Mr. Smith an American, or an English?
If Mr. Smith is an American, then “ ” is the correct fact and the answer
amerika-jin
should be;
Answer: = He is an American.
(sumisu san wa) amerika-jin desu
